Question about Sony Cybershot S650 Digital Camera
I had my camera on and suddenly it the screen turns black. and now when i turn it on, "access" appears on the screen and then the lens keeps moving back and forth . After a while it says "turn the power off and on again" . so i turn it off and on again but the same thing happens.
I had the same problem with my DSC-W55. I actually just called the customer service number on the sony website and they told me how to solve the problem.
- Take your battery out
- Press and hold the power button for 60 seconds
- Re enter your battery
- Voila.. it should work when you turn it on. Mine did.

it just doesn't have enough power to bring the lense back in.
once you charge your battery and turn it on the lense will automatically come back in and then out for you to take a picture.
