This is still not working. I cannot email from the Yahoo account because it is not working. All the settings appeared to be set up as you described in your solution. Is there anyway I can speak with someone to try to walk through this problem? My number is 309-688-6132.

Its ok you just have to cross check the following few settings in outlook and make correction wherever you find variations.

    1. In outlook express go to tools and then click accounts. A window of internet account will open click on mail tab.

    2. Click on properties tab under general tab mail account field should be ""

    3. E-mail should contain your E-mail address not just ID.

    4. Under server tab incoming server type should be "POP3"

    5. Incoming mail should be ""

    6. Outgoing mail (SMTP) should be ""

    7. Account name should be your email address and password should be your password.

    8. Under security alogirithm should be "3DES"

    9. Under advanced tab outgoing mail (SMTP) should be "25" incoming should be "110"

After checking and correcting click apply and ok.

Exit out of outlook express. Restart and now send your e-mails.

Kindly revert back if these don't work for you.

Your account's NOT POP-enabled whenever you select the "Forwarding" option, because these two separate features can't be used at the same time. If you make a change here, make sure to click Save when you're done.

At home, have been unable to connect to Yahoo email. Here, emails sent to Yahoo email are getting a cannot send error. ----- Transcript of session follows ----- ... Deferred Warning: message still...

Please make sure that you've entered your Yahoo! Mail address as the "From" address in your email client. You won't be able to send mail if you've entered another address.

If you have the Norton AntiVirus email feature enabled, you might have to do additional configuration to use Outlook or Outlook Express. For more information, please visit the Symantec web site.

If you've tried the above steps and continue to have problems, your ISP might not allow its users to send messages with other companies' SMTP outgoing mail servers.

If you're unable to send email, try using port 587 when sending via Yahoo!'s SMTP server. Here's how to make this change in Outlook:

1.From the "Tools" menu, select "Accounts."
2.Select your Yahoo! POP account and click the "Properties" button.
3.Click the "Advanced" tab.
4.Next to "Outgoing server (SMTP"), change port 25 to 587.

The message could not be sent because one of the recipients was rejected by the server. The rejected e-mail address was ''. Subject 'testing', Account: '', Server:...

this is a server rejected recipient error message for Outlook/ outlook express. mainly if this is a correct email address that you were trying to send the email on then you need to check for the configuration settings for Outlook express.
Goto Outlook express- higlight mail tab- select the user a/c- click properties on right- goto server tab check that server is

Outgoing message does not go with Outlook 2007

It sounds like your SMTP settings are incorrect, if you are using a POP3 service, it can connect and download your email, but most ISP Mail SMTP servers dont allow outgoing mail from another ISP.

Example, I have a email account but I have wireless hometown as my ISP, so I have to set my POP3 settings to my account (incoming messages) and my SMTP settings to wireless hometown smtp server for (outgoing mail)
