When i go to play songs on my computer i cant hear anything. is it my speackers or the computer?

can you hear them when you have it set to speaker phone? the music part plays through a speaker and the phone uses the ear piece to make sounds, your earpiece is bad, they sell them on ebay for $10.00 must be very common problem.

check the speaker cables are correctly in the speakers and the main
unit

It could be a problem with the Mike & Speaker.
Try to remove the Battery and do a hard Reboot to the phone
Then try to check

HiCan you play songs ? If you can play songs then your earpiece is damage or short circuit and at the same time even if you play songs there is no sound then the problem comes from the Sound IC or its related components.So, if you can listen music just change the earpiece(the smaller speaker which is facing front side).Good luck

1. Make sure your speakers are plugged into an outlet
2. Make sure your speakers are connected to your computer (usually a jack goes into a green hole in the back of your computer)
3. Make sure the speakers are turned on
4. Make sure the volume on the speakers is turned up
5. Make sure the volume control on your computer is turned on by clicking on the speaker icon next to the time on your computer screen. BE SURE IT IS NOT MUTED.
6. If there is no speaker icon there, click on Start > Control Panel> Sound and then drag the volume level.
7. Try playing a song.
8. If the song is not being heard, go to http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/driverslist.aspx?os=WW1&catid=3&dateid=-1&impid=-1&osl=EN&typeid=-1&formatid=-1&servicetag=&SystemID=DIM_PNT_P4_CEL_2400&hidos=WW1&hidlang=en&TabIndex=&scanSupported=False&scanConsent=Falseand choose the first one to download.
9. After it is done downloading, find the file on your computer, and double click to install. It may ask you to restart your computer after it is done. Please do so.
10. When you are done restarting, try playing a song. You should be able to hear sound now. If not, your computer needs some hardware repair which means you should get a technician to repair it.

make sure your sound driver is installed and working, if not go to a search engine and type in the name of your sound card and then the word driver (ex Sound Blaster driver)

Have apple servase it if they cnt fix it they may give you a band new one as long it is under warntee.

check you dirver is install you computer proparly and mute option is check after not solve the problem change the sound card .............ok

Did you ever leave you USB cable or mp3 in front of some speakers or amplifiers...that might be the problem I had the same problem but i dont know how to fix it but all i know is that if you left it mear any speackers or amplifiers than it is broken.
