I think we're both confused.

We need specific details when talking about AV gear because of the common interchangeable terminologies (but NOT fuctions) and cable types used by the audio and video sides.

Let's be specific about types of cables:

Coaxial Cable (for TV) = 300-ohm like an antenna conenction
Coaxial Digital Audio = RCA-style cable

Just because something fits doesn't mean it carries a compatible signal.

In either case, what is the relevance of output jacks on a TV? Unless you mean AUDIO output. Even so, why wash audio through a TV then send it via probably analog-stereo-only RCA cables to an audio-specializing device like the Pioneer?
