Question about Panasonic Car Audio & Video

Open Question

The speakers stopped workingon the Pioneer EEQ Mosfet 50wx4

All of a sudden the music died. It happened before while fidling with the buttons and knobs on the user hostile system I inherited on a boat. The display is live. I can change stations, time, volume (without any sound being heard), bal.fade, equalization, band, etc) but no sound comes out. The speaker connections were and still are good. There is a mess of wires not connected in back for AUX & Remote etc that were not connected (it worked fine) and remain unchanged. No hardware changes were made to initiate the condition. I suspect it is a setting.
Are there separate fuses for teh speakers in the radio other are none in the speakers? I tried following the user manual & nada.

Hi,
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

SOURCE: connection to IPOD

There are many ways to do so. Each of which is progressively more expensive.
All of these plug into the Ip bus plug in the rear of the unit.
Most of these can be found on Ebay or Amazon
1: An IP bus to RCA plug then you need a RCA to 3.5mm plug wire. (note this is a lower quality) $10-$30

2: An ip bus to Ipod connect plug. (Better sound quality, charges Ipod, does not allow Ipod control from the Head unit, only from the Ipod) around $15-$30

3: An ip bus to Ipod Connectivity unit (same quality as #2 but allows for Ipod control from Head unit)
$100+

Most of these can be found on Ebay or Amazon

Setting clock radio

Press and hold down the "clock" button. You should see your time start flashing. Normally you set the time with the volume or channel control. Check which control lets the selector jump from "hou" to "minute and set the minutes. To exit setting menu, depress "clock" button again

If your Pioneer has a cassette deck the simple solution is to use a CD adapter for cassette. These can be purchased from Amazon from about 1 pound. Works perfectly for me. ANDO
