My washing machine fills with pieces of black matter. I have done machine clean washes and it still happens every time, covering my clothes in black pieces that look like cardboard. Please help my - the...

Hi mine does exactly the same! I have to call in my washing machine technician more often (he told me this would happen with a top loader as opposed to a front loader, boy was he right!!) and he cleans out the drum. Mostly it is the fabric softener which is too thick. I water mine down to 50/50 and I do another spin after my final wash. I also empty the filter of water at the side/bottom of the machine. This annoying problem is caused by the way the drum turns on a top loader as opposed to the front loader. My top loader cannot heat water automatically either like a front loader, and I think this also adds to the problem as hot/boiling water would dissolve all that soap/fabric softener. Hope this helps.

Do not take drum out.
Run a wash without clothes in and put a mild bleach solution inside.

My front loader wont pump out the water when spining and when the machine is washing it makes a terrible loud screeching noise.

Mine does the exact same thing, only now I can only wash underwear in it as anything else is too heavy for machine to turn while washing.... My socks have dissappeared wonder if thats whats stopping it from turning or maybe thats just my messy kids making them dissappear!lol I've all but given up on it and think I'll dump it for top loader...
