Question about Cuisinart DLC-5 Food Processor
I've assembled my cuisinart prep 7 and power is available (light is one) but nothing happens when i push the pulse buttton. i hadn't used in for about a year and wanted to make salsa but it's now not working.
Sounds like a safety feature working. Unplug. Take apart as if you are going to clean it. Check all parts carefully to see if there is anything broken, like a nub.(Are all parts there?) Put back together, making sure they are fully engaged. Plug in and try. This happened to my food processor and it was a bit of dried food stuck in the bowls sliding track that kept it from clicking fully connected. Hope this helps!
