How do I get psp 1001 to pick up a signal from my wireless router

First be sure that the wifi switch is on - on your psp. Go to your network connections and make a new connection. It should ask something about automatically detecting signal..use that option. If you use WEP- just type in the password that set up for your wireless router.

Wireless adapter has no isp address

First Reset Your IP

Open Start.. choose RUN..type CMD...press Enter..
In the Command Window, Type: ipconfig /release.. Wait for it to finish, then type: ipconfig /renew

note: You Must Put A Space After ipconfig(space)/release...ipconfig(space)/renew........

Then Check Your Network Settings and Uncheck: Automatically Connect To A Network from your wireless settings....

If Still Having Issues... Go To Your Device Manager and Uninstall The WiFi Adapter/Driver... Reboot and Reinstall..

note: If you uninstall the driver, make sure you first went to the acer website and downloaded the wireless driver and saved it somewhere so that upon uninstall and reboot.... you have the driver to reinstall....

HOW DO I GET WIRELESS INTERNET ON MY PSP

You need to find out your router name or SSID first. Check the network setting in your router.

1. Go to Network Settings under the PSP settings menu.

2. Select the "Infrastructure Mode" and press X.

3. Under "Select a connection to edit", choose "New Connection" and press X.

4. Now you will enter the connection name, press X.

5. Using the D-pad, name the connection "<whatever your router name is>" then select Enter and press X.

6. Now the connection is named "<your router name>". Select it and press >.

7. Under WLAN Settings, choose to "Enter Manually" and press >.

8. The SSID screen will come up next. Select the empty space underneath "SSID" and press X.

9. Using the D-pad, type in "<your router name>" then select Enter and press X.

10. Under WLAN Security Setting select "None" and press >.

11. Under Address Setting select "Custom" and press >.

12. Next, set the IP Address Setting to "Automatic" and press >.

13. The DNS Setting should also be set to "Automatic". After this is done press >.

14. Under Proxy Server, choose "Do Not Use" and press >.

15. Under Internet Browser, select "Start" so that the browser will be started after connection to the access point. Press >.

16. This screen will show your Settings List, press the > button after looking over the list.

17. You are now done setting up your connection, press the X button to save your settings.
Test Your Wireless Connection

18. Once your save has been completed, select "Test Connection" and press X.

19. Your PSP will now test your connection by connecting to the access point, obtaining an IP address and starting your internet browser.

20. If all settings are correct, you should see a screen confirming the connection.

PSP won't let me enter the EDIT Type screen

It seems to me like the PSP system is corrupt. The system reads some programs (maybe all) in hexadecimal (computer language) and it is very likely that these codes were somehow inputted wrong or were changed. This could happen by turning off the system or removing the memory card while updating or trying to hack the PSP system. I am not sure if there are any ways to fix this yourself. You might want to check out the Playstation Official Website to find a Support phone line to call. www.playstation.com

How to prevent the transmission from damage
(The filter usually is screen type and can be cleaned when remove bottom cover. but this is not to be done at regular maintenance inspection.)
- Regularly check your parking space for leaks. Doesn't matter, is it the engine oil leak, power steering fluid or transmission fluid; if you discover any, get it fixed before it caused something serious.
- Once in a while check the transmission fluid level and condition. Not all cars however have the automatic transmission dipstick, in some cars, for example, in late Volkswagen models, the transmission fluid can only be checked by the dealer. Consult with your owner's manual for details. If the transmission fluid level is too low, there is a leak somewhere that needs to be fixed.
- Change the fluid as often as it said in your owner's manual or when it becomes too dark (rather brown than red) or dirty.
Also, keep in mind that an automatic transmission can not be drained completely - there is always some transmission fluid left inside the transmission (the torque converter, in the valve body, etc.) which means you only can change about %60 of the fluid at once. This is one more reason to change it more often.

- Use only the same type of the transmission fluid as specified in the owner's manual or on the dipstick. Some vehicles (e.g Dodge Caravan) are very sensitive to fluid type
- Never shift to the Reverse or Parking until the car comes to a complete stop.
- Never shift from the Parking mode when engine rpm is higher than normal idle.
- Always hold a brakes down when shifting from Parking.
- The automatic transmission can be damaged if towing with the drive wheels on the road. Always use a dolly or place powered wheels on the towing platform (if the vehicle is front wheel drive - tow it from the front leaving rear wheels on the road.

PSP saving game

First to have games on your psp you have to have a program on your psp called umd dumper. you can find it on google by typing umd dumper and clicking on the first choice that comes up and then dowloading it.( before you continue here you must make sure your psp is downgraded, atleast vesion 3.11 or lower thats what i have. go to the file where you saved your download, double click and extract all the files from it. now connect your psp to your computer. now go to your downloaded folder and find two folder called umd dumper %%%%, copy and paste those to files on your psp that is still connected to your computer on a file called psp. now diconnect your psp and go to your game section on your psp and click on memorystick you might find two folders, umd dumper and corrupter file or just umd dumper, dont pay attention to the corrupted file. put a game in your psp and click the umd dumper, it will automatically start extracting files from your umd and put it on your memory stick ( make sure you have enough space on your memory stick depending on the game) after its done now connect the psp back to the computer and this time you will notice a new file with a umd picture on your folder, drag the umd folder and drop it in a folder called ISO, if you dont have a folder called ISO look on the internet on how you can get on on your psp. now when you are done diconnect it and go to your games section and on your memory stick you will have the game you just extracted. click on it and enjoy your game onyour memory stick..( if this information is not accurate enough you can go to, youtube.com and type umd dumper and watch some of the videos on there one of them might give you a better understanding)
