Hi this is deffinately a problem with the thermostat and will need replacing what is happening is you are setting the temperature you want on the oven and then when the oven gets upto temperature it should tell the oven this is the right temp and cut down the gas supply to keep the oven at set temperature but when the thermostat fails the temperatur goes above the setting you choose so it cuts itself off as a safety feature to stop it setting fire to anything in the oven most cookers are set to do this so you could either source the part yourself and fit yourself but if you are not confident in working with or on gas appliances then i suggest you call someone out this is a relitively cheap repair so call someone out tell them what wrong and they will source part and replace it for you should only take a couple of days to get part but if you use a registered repair firm they should carry the part in stock as this is a common fault with most ovens hope this easis your mind a bit if you want to do it yourself you will nedd to get a manuall covering your unit for repairs but if unsure what you are doing leave it to pro as if you get it wrong you could spend more money where as if you call someone out they no what they are doing and should give you a warranty on the part and repair so this would be the best option hope this is some help to you good luck

it could be the sensor that has gone you should be able to replace these yourself but make sure you get the right part for your model no you could try replacing this yoursellf as the first thing to do but without proper testing equipment you wont know which part has gone or not the sensor is the cheapest of the two and can sometimes solve the problem but i would try this first as it is the cheapest option you should be able to do this yourself hope this is some help to you you should be able to download a service manuall off the net just use a good search engine to find one on finding one this will give you step by step details how to go about the repair i will have a look for you and if i come across one i will post you back the details ok good luck

Seems to me you have a defective control panel board.. Ovens should never do this. Time for the Serviceman right away, this could be dangerous if you are not home.

Gas does not come on for oven to light

im assuming that your cook top works fine and that the broil is working fine. You need to replace the oven ignitor. The automatic gas valve is equipped with a sensor that opens the valve. if the ignitor doesn't heat up the sensor, then the valve will not open. replacing your ignitor should solve the problem.

When we cook in the oven it says F2 every 10 mins.

This means that your oven temp sensor has failed. There is no way to fix the sensor. You have to replace. The f2 means that your oven has reached its heaeting limit and it shuts down for safety. Replace oven temp sensor and it wil fix it.
