What components have you installed? (Specifically, which CPU, video card, RAM, and power supply?) Do you hear any beeps when the computer powers on? If not, is the PC speaker properly connected, or does the motherboard have a built-in speaker? (Note: the PC speaker is not the same thing as the speakers you plug in to hear audio in Windows. It is small and inside the case or part of the motherboard).

Is it possible to use intel duel core E5400 processor with MSI B75MA-P45 Motherboard? or any other motherboard support DDR3?

Hello here is the cpu list, for the asus board:

Here is the msi site:

Your current cpu will not fit on the msi board, because it is a different socket.

The asus board has socket LGA 775, and the msi board has socket 1155.

You have to buy a new cpu for the msi board, to make it work.

Here is the cpu list:

If you want to keep the socket 775, you probably have to find a used mainboard, because this socket type is phased out.

Some online stores still have this mainboard type available, but a new mainboard will have the DDR3 ram socket.

Good luck

I have a msi 785gm-p45 motherboard when i boot the computer there is no video on my monitor not even bios shows I'm using the onboard graphics i know it had a graphics card in it before i recieved it...

Hello here is the homepage:

Try to download the manual.
Adobe reader is needed, to read the content.

Yes, the bios can be reset, by removing the cmos battery, and inset it again.
But i don`t think that`s the problem.
Try to renew the power supply, and check also the ram modules, by removing them and insert, one at the time, and try to boot again.

Any beeb codes ??

How do you get to the boot menu so I can install a new copy if windows on a msi motherboard?

You should be able to just put the Windows disk in CD or DVD drive and boot your PC, Then a boot from CD Screen should appeared. Then just hit "Enter" to start the XP wipe of hard drive and install. OR you can: Push the Delete several times at boot up and this will take you to BIOS. setup screen where you can adjust the settings you want.

Msi , pc boot , HELLP

Seems like your processor is getting overheated.
Check the heatsink for proper installation, and if possible apply fresh heat release compound.
Also make sure the fan is working and correctly attached.

MSI motherboard

First check thru visual if there are signs of burnt transistors and bulged capacitors. Check for open fuses and resitors, broken lines. And reheat the motherboard if necessary. Hope this gives you hint.
