You will need the programming software to check all settings of the two radios. If both radios are programmed the same then you need to run tests on why they wont communicate to each other. Unfortunatly there is no "reset" for the radios. Carl

How do I get an icom ic f21 radio that sends a signal to another one receive from another one?

Relays are complicated.. expecially in the same band... but if you have two transceivers which do not interfere with each other, then a relay unit can be made by building a 'carrier detect circuit and relay output' to control the TX/RX of each rig and correctly adjusting the audio levels fed to each.....

I have the software and the cable.

Be sure your computer baud rate is set to match what the radio is using.

How can i do a factory reset on an icom ic-706, basically i want to clean it all off and have it like it came out the factory, it this possible??

Hi Paul,

The best I can come up with is Try this: join yahoo group Specific to your radio Make/Model, the experts there will help you with useful info and you can download manuals, schematics and software, if available, for your radio and all this is free.

I hope I have been of assistance to you.

Regards,
Peter

How to add frequencies/channels to ICOM IC-F21 two-way radios?

Sorry, but your radio is limited to 16 channels in the 400-430 and 440-470 MHz ranges. The number of channels cannot be expanded, nor can the frequency coverage.

Programming issues with Icom F21

What you have is a programming issue. The radios need to be "cloned" so they will all work together. You can buy the software on line for about $65.00 then you can change frequencies when ever you want.
