On my boss ava-1204 equalizer what are the high input line use for to connect to

High input is designed for using speaker level output from another component (such as an amplifier) into the equalizer. Any source that is loud enough to power a speaker is a candidate for that input. The other type of input is the line-level input. This is a more common way to connect components. The power level on these is very tiny and must be amplified in order to be head.

Hi i just got a ava1202 boss eq it didnt have instructions this eq has rca inputs and high level speaker inputs can i use this eq with out an amp can smeone plz help me thnk u

Yes you can use the equalizer without an amplifier. That is what the high level speaker inputs are for. You simply take the positive and negative from a speaker and hook it up to the positive and negative high level speaker inputs on the equalizer.

Whats the best way to hook up a 12 inch dual voice coil insignia subwoofer spkr to a 4 channel 650 rev boss amp

Well without seeing a spec sheet on the amp and not knowing your voice coil impedance I will assume the following. If the speaker is dual 4 ohm voice coil the in parallel it would present a 2 ohm impedance to the amp. If this amp is stable down to 2 ohms bridged then that would be the hookup of choice. If it is not stable to two ohms with one speaker it will be tough to get full performance out of your amp. You would have to series the voice coils which would then present an 8 ohm impedance to the amp. Just look at your amp's manual before making the decision. My suggestion would be to get another one of those subwoofers parallel the voice coils on each then wire the two subwoofers in series. This would give you a 4 ohm load which your amp is almost certain to be able to drive.

Wiring up amp/installing amp

Disconnect all the wires and make sure that their all connected to the right terminals. If not positively sure trace all wires back to source. If you ground and power is swapped it will automatically go over to protection mode.
