You have it turned up to high, turn it down. Put the fridge at a medium level usually 4 or 5. then wait a day or so. If it is not cold enough, go up by one to 5 or 6. Wait another day or two. Repeat. It is a good idea to get a fridgerator thermometer to get the optimum usage and keep foods at proper temp. They are cheap.

What causes food to freeze in the bottom of the refrigerator & meat & cheese tray

See if there is a temperature setting on the side of the drawer. Mine has a small lever that opens a hole to the freezer to keep that drawer colder. If it's opened too far the food will freeze.

We are big into picnics in our family but I am trying to make the food we take in our basket, a bit healthier. Any suggestions? We are pretty flexible eaters.

Here is a list of some of the foods I pack for my family in the picnic basket. It's good to experiment.

- Pitta and Hummous

- Dips with vegetables

- Fruit kebabs

- Seasonal Salads

- Salads full of beans and lentils

- Healthy oatmeal cookies

- Whole wheat bread sticks

Water appearing in the refrigerator and collecting on the back of the shelves as well at the bottom under the vegetable and fruit containers.

could just be condensation, which is normall, have you put any uncovered/warm/food or salad/fresh fruit in lately, these all add to the"problem"there is no "fix "other than kitchen tissue under the salad /fruit drawers, and throw away once a week.fridges are not frost free.(condensation in freezer is frost)
