    What is the wireless model number and what are the first 5 characters of serial number? Did the internet light work before? When did you purchase it? Can you go on the internet connecting to the source Cable/DSL modem without the router connected?

Try to unplug it and wait 15 seconds and restart your computer then plug the router back in and should work good

Try a different wall plug.If this does not bring the light to green the you probably need a new power cord.

Cannot access internet with a linksys router
Make sure DHCP is turned off on the modem or else you will get ip conflicts. Also make sure it is plugged into the wan port on the router

What version of the router do you have 1,0 or 1,1? This is located on the bottom of your router. There is a firmware update for both models, I will provide link. Also how is your laptop connected wired or wireless? Let me know and I will try to help you troubleshoot your problem. We always can set up your router manually.
