remove the front toe kick. you should have 6 torx screws. four in the top 2 in the front. your float switch will be in the front center .the float is a piece of styrofoam - the float many times is what you find jammed up making the unit believe it has water in the base

SOURCE: Asko 1805 ALL lights flashing and no water coming out

High water level is often in the pan under the dishwasher.

  1. Unplug or turn off breaker.
  2. Remove kick panel.
  3. Remove water from pan.
  4. plugin/turn on breaker.
  5. watch for leaks.

SOURCE: Asko Dishwasher Model D1716B Does not fill

Have an Asko 1325 that experienced similar scenario. Removed the unit from the kitchen to the outside to do a thorough exploration. After all a dead machine is a good one to learn on. With the unit electrically disconnected, I explored within the lower guts of the machine. Found some foreign plastic debris within the turbine. Then wigled and removed each electrical connector and reconnected back. There may be corrosion within the contacts. After this procedure I test ran the machine on the outside and it worked.

BTW a common defect with the Asko is the electrical wiring leading up the main door panel, from below the machine. The wires are typically too short and the metal edges of the unit are razor sharp. You guessed it, wires become cut and cause an electrical short at best, or a fire at worst. See the photo for proof by practice. This is why an Asko can be a fiasco. b84ee89.jpg8bbfcfc.jpg

Asko dishwasher 1875. Saying F2 fault. Reset doesnt fix. Water slowly running in constantly even when switched off. Pump runs if left on but if turned off it floods. any ideas?

Just wrote you a massive explanation then closed my window by accident. Lets try again!

From what you say, with water running even when powered off, this is certainly a mechanical failure of the water inlet valve. There will only be a couple of possible causes for this:

1) The valve is being jammed open by an obstruction, possibly grit in the water supply (did you have plumbing work done recently or work on the water supply in the street? This would be a classic cause). If an obstruction is the case then repeatedly starting a fill cycle, draining and satrting the fill again MAY shift the blockage.

2) There is a failure of the valve its self. Essentially it's just a valve with rubber seals operated by a small electro magnet and sometimes the seals fail (often as a result of a poor water supply allowing grit into the rubbers).

If the information at (1) above doesn't help, you may have to replace the valve (Though in examining it when you come to take it out, you may be able to locate and remove an obstruction).

To help you out there is a parts manual for your machine available in PDF here:

http://www.greatplainsapplianceparts.com/order/Parts%20Manuals/Asko/ASKO-Dishwasher/D3112%20(DW20.1)%20SS.pdf

Looks like the diagram on page 2 shows that you need part 135, although it seems to me that the author of the manual has got part 135 (Part No. 8073774 Cord Set) mixed up with part 140 ( Part No. 8073825 Inl. Valve Single 120V Sens.).

I imagine that if you go to the ASKO website and use the contact us option:
http://www.askousa.com/customer-care/contact-us/
They should be able to clear that up for you

Hope this all helps

ASKO D1706

look at the pwr supply box on the dw check for a short to ground in the main pwr wires, otherwise the only field in the dw to trip to breaker is a mtr dead shorted to ground. if that is the case you may want to by a new dw because not to many techs enjoy working on ASKO PRODUCTS or are they certified to do so. so it maybe difficult to get a service company to even look at it and if they do and the mtr is the issue you will be looking at a expensive repair. good luck

ASKO Overfill protection tripped

Remove the backpanel of the machine, and look if there is water at the bottom of the machine. If so, use a towel or so to dry up the water. This should solve the prob.

Overfill protection tripping

Is there water in the drip pan? My asko developed a leaky inlet solenoid, which would fill the drip pan eventually causing a failure. If the water evaporated, the washer would run. Normally, there should be no water in the drip pan.
