Start the computer in "safe mode" (press F8 when it's booting). Then remove the driver and reboot. Re-install the driver and then be careful about the resolution you pick.

You might need to update the graphics drivers to 3d if you are playing games with high level animation ?

Click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to display adapters + to expand you might see a yellow question mark ? or exclamation mark ! or a red x right click select reinstall drivers if your computer came with a motherboard disc the drivers could be on it or you might try these http://ati-catalyst-drivers.en.softonic.com/ Optimise your ATi graphics card's performance http://download.cnet.com/3dmark2001/3000-2121_4-10056689.html Hope this helps.

Change the resolution on my Samsung B2030 LCD Monitor

1600X900 is a higher resolution than that of 1280X1024. Therefore 1600X900 is a better resolution. If you would like to run at the lower resolution simply right click your desktop screen and click properties. Then on the settings tab use the slider bar to adjust the resolution. Lower to the left and higher to the right. If the desired resolution is unavailable then you could try downloading and installing the latest drivers for your graphics card installed in your computer.

Your card will either be AMD/ATI Radeon or Nvidia. You will need the model number of the graphics card, the latest drivers may increase resolution support for your card.

Also look on the bottom right hand side of your screen for an Nvidia Control Panel logo in green. Right click it and select the option to "change screen resolution" This may provide you with additional resolution options.

Take care!

I cant play need for speed mostwanted at high settings on my ati radeon 9550.how can i play it on high settings?plz solve

You can't, 9550 is a very old card that, when it was new, was a low power one, for multimedia use, not gaming. You will need to lower the resolution drastically if you want to play that game in high settings.

Hello Friend,

Please visit below URl and download display drivers from "Video" section. If your computer having intel graphic card then please download intel driver or if your computer is having ATI graphic card then please download ATI driver

After downloading the driver install and reboot your system once.

This might fix your resolution problem.

My laptop doasn't regonize my tv when i connect it

I would suggest that you should reduce the screen resolution of your laptop to something like 800 by 600 pixels, then try to reconnect it.
This is because there are some TVs that can not display the resolution provided by some high-end laptop graphics card, and I have actually experienced a case like this before.
So just try and check some lower resolutions on the laptop to connect it to your TV.
Hope it helps you out.
Goodluck!

Ati 9500 pro family install issues

sometimes in the bios you have to switch it over from one bus port to another being it already came with the nvidia card as onboard im guessing that's not the case...best advice put the new card in and make sure the most recent drivers are installed... when you put a new card in your tower it automatically reads it jus needs the drivers...so you can have all the benefits of using the card...when you put the card in did the screen come on at all? and was your resolution changed?

Screen resolution jumps every 15 seconds

Try this as follows: 1) Remove any ATI graphics drivers from your PC. 2) Install your driver from the original disc. 3) if it works, ok, if not, update to the latest driver from ATI's website. 4) if that doesnt work, try to maunally delete registery entires of ATI, IN SAFE MODE of course. then remove the driver of ATI, then install it from CD, again, if it works, ok, if not, update it from ATI website.
