Remove the front panel on the dryer, get the old belt and take it and the model number into your local shop to get the proper belt, put the new belt around the drum with the groves towards the drum, replace the front panel. on the lower part section of the dryer on the back there will be a panel you remove it see the motor, reach in and place the belt around the pulley on the motor then carefully force the tension idler down towards the floor till you can place the lower section of the belt into the pulley on the tension idler and release the idler. you can now run the dryer, as the drum turns the belt will place itself. hope this helps.

Whirlpool dryer frontloading Model WED7500VW It is heating fine, but rotating intermittently. If I tip it backwards, or lightly shake it, it sometimes will start rotating, often to the end of cycle.

Check the condition of your dryer belt. The motor pulley may have worn a spot in the belt . This worn spot catches and stops the belt from continuing its revolution. When you shake the machine the belt catches and will work again for a while. Replace the belt. Good Luck Friend.

Electric dryer..have heat on auto heat cycle, but no heat on timed cycle why?

If you have normal heat on Auto cycle, I have seen a few times that these new dryers channel the heat circuit separately through the timer for auto and timed cycle's. This isn't normal but you have a bad timer. But for any other readers this isn't a common problem generally the timer use's the same heat contact for auto and timed cycles, this is the exception.
