Question about Canon PIXMA iP2000 InkJet Printer
A window opens to tell me my Waste Ink Absorber was full. It won't progress. I have never heard of this before
Check if the waste ink absorber is really full, if yes, then replace it.
But if the waste ink absorber is not full, press the printer's RESUME button to restart printing.
If you get the same problem, try the instruction below:
1. Turn off printer.
2. Retaining button Resume/Cancel press button POWER.
3. Let go button Resume/Cancel, continuing to retain POWER.
4. Press button Resume/Cancel of 2 times, retaining POWER, after which let go all buttons.
5. When indicator will be lit BY GREEN - press button Resume/Cancel of 4 times!!!
6. Turn off printer by button POWER.
7. Turn it back ON after 5 minutes.
If still getting the same problem, then reset the code for waste in absorber. Here's how:
Try to go properties of your printer then select grayscale so that you can prevent much ink.
Check the link below and watch the VIDEO from youtube on how to clean the printer:
Hope these helps and have a great day!

Tips for a great answer:
Eight flashes: Waste ink absorber almost full
The printer has a built-in waste ink absorber for the ink used during Print Head cleaning. Eight flashes indicates that the waste ink absorber is nearly full. Press the RESUME/CANCEL button to cancel the error so you can continue printing. Before the waste ink absorber becomes completely full, contact a Canon service representative.
Canon recommends that you call for service as soon as this error occurs. Once the waste ink absorber becomes completely full, printing will no longer be possible
