I have been taking Marcus Rohwer Spirulina for many years now. I take 6 tablets in the morning on an empty stomach with my first cup of coffee. Is this correct or should I take it after breakfast?

There is no fix for this problem that you as the consumer can do. When my coffee maker did this after 6 months I went through all the de-scale and safety pin mumbo-jumbo and ended up getting a new maker from them. Now 2 months later I am getting the prime problem. To be brutally honest... I just want a cooffee maker that will give me a ---- cup of coffee in the morning without having to do major restoration on the maker. The Keurig is a good concept... but in reality I have to stop at Quik Trip for the morning Joe.
Just like any coffee or espresso maker, descaling is a process that needs to be done periodically. If your location has hard water, you may need to descale more often than elsewhere, but it's nothing to worry about. It's just a chemical process that occurs as the result of mineral deposits from the water collecting on the elements inside the coffee maker. I'm sure that coffee manufacturers will sell you tablets for descaling, but I've always just used undiluted white vinegar as the reactant. To do this, I recommend:1. Empty all of the water from the reservoir.2. Fill with undiluted white vinegar.3. For this type of coffee maker, brew as many cups as it takes to empty the reservoir, being sure to dump each cup in the sink as it finishes.4. Once you've run through all of the vinegar from the reservoir, refill with water and run a few cycles to rinse. (You may want to leave the water to soak for a while to give the residual vinegar further time to clean off the minerals.)5. Fill again with water and rinse.6. Once you've emptied the reservoir a second time with the water, your machine should be adequately descaled and ready to brew coffee again!

Take 48 oz of white vinegar. place in tank. pretend you are making coffee (Do No Use K Cup). let the water fill you mug. then empty that mug. Do it again until tank is empty. then let sit for 4 hours. Then fill with fresh water to the top. let that tank of water run thru. towards the end taste the water. If you taste vinegar..use more clean water, until the taste is ok.

try and unplug the unit and try again..if the unit starts again i suggest you follow the procedure below. if not the unit is defective....

Check the water level. Check to make sure that the coffee filter under basket is clean and not plugged. YOu can remove your filter, then take out the basket and clean it....when did you purchase the machine?
