If it's just interference, it's being caused by something electrical in the home. If you have actual lines that never go away no matter what, that sounds like a repair issue. Call Panasonic customer service, and they will advise you to try a few troubleshooting ideas.

The problem may be due to 60hz (cps) power line interference making its way into the TV either through the cables that are connected to the TV or through the AC power wire. A good test is to unhook everything and connect a VCR to the TV and play a movie to see how the TV screen looks. If the TV screen doesn't show the lines when playing a movie, the problem is coming into the TV from one of the cables. Try hooking up one item at a time until the noise bars show up, when they do that cable or device is the cause of the noise bars.

AOC vertical white line moving across the screen

I have dual AOC i2553ph monitors. One day I came into work and notice one of them had a single vertical white line moving slowly back and forth across the screen that looked like a scan or radar function. I reset the monitor from the OSD and all is well again. Use "Extra > reset" from the OSD on AOC monitors.

Blue vertical and hrizontal lines moving slowly

This is usually caused by a ground differential. on the cable box. Solution is to put an F-type cable box ground eliminator on the incoming coaxial cable line. You can test this theory by unplugging the Coax on the INPUT of your cable box. They are less than $12.00. For more info go to www.cedia.org and put in your zip code to find the closest in home tech to install one for you.

Toshiba 46In HD Rear projection TV Vertical lines on screen

We also have vertical lines with our JVC 62"... turning it off and letting it cool down is the only solution. For us, we know it's a problem with heat. We simply are wits end on fixing it. added two additional fans, a exterior fan to blow heat away from the back of the tv, pulled everything else away, etc.... Anyway, goodluck.
