When I flip the phone, the screen stays on the vertical view

The flex cable of your phone between the keyboard and screen may be disconnected or needs to be replaced, which enables the screen flips when the keyboard is brought up. The best step here is to take it to the LG repair shop and get it mended. Though you can it is difficult to repair it yourself, you can use appropriate screwdrivers for the screws of the phone, find the flex cable and fix it. Close the phone just the way you opened it.

Moto RAZR phones are notorious for this. Best thing to do - Get a new phone. Inside of the hinge, there is a sensor that detects if the phone is open or shut. When you open the phone, it still thinks its closed, so the screen stays white, and if im correct the outside display should still work. Pretty much not-fixable unless you know someone who can take it apart and re-position the sensor (will void the warranty)

no. u will have to open the flip. the outer screen is just to indicate tht u have a missed callor message or bluetooth operation is in progrss

wire issue

I have a light blue banner at the bottom of my display screen that will not go away. I thought it was a message indicator. I have checked all of my messages -text and voice mail but it still remains. How do I get rid of it?
