I have a Brother LB6800-PRW sewing machine. I am having difficulty getting the material to feed. The thread just tangles up. What can be causing this?

Check the stitch length to see if it is set at no feeding (0) if so, reset the stitch length to between 2 and 3. Also, check to see if the feed dogs are up and will help guide the fabric. One other thing is sure to use the right needle size for the fabric you are trying to sew. Included a link with full possible issues to correct the problem. My fabric is not feeding properly Brother

The feed dogs on my sewing machine will not raise

if your question is that the fabric didn't feed when I tried a zig-zag stitch , well then this might be a normal thing to happen on your machine , some machines when set to MAX size zig-zag stitch retract the "feed dogs" as you call them so that the operator can hand move the fabric around under presser foot , this is task called "darn" and its usually for filling large holes in fabric (socks!!) and for adding embroidery too (special needle)

How do I reset the presser foot pressure back to the factory default on the SINGER 1507wc?

Once the presser foot pressure adjustment has been made it is a matter of matching the pressure to your fabric. Using a coin turn to button clockwise to tighten ( as for heavier fabrics) and anti clockwise to loosen (as for lighter fabrics). It will be up to you to find just the right settings depending on type of fabric and thickness.

Why would my Singer 6235 not feed the fabic:

h! there,
fabric moves forward when machine run due to movement of feed dogs, feed dog has a teeth, when your foot presser goes down attached to fabrics the pressure hold the fabric between pressure foot and feed dogs that why when machine run feed dogs pushed fabric when recieved stitch.try to check adjustment of feed dogs it maybe set at rest or neutral.reset it to upward towards needle.check also bobbins thread if accumulation was build up under feed dogs.regard and have a nice day.

In what order do i put the tension assembly together

Probably the most important contol on your machine is this one that regulates your top thread tension there are reason for having to reset your tension.Classified your fabric that you are using there are several set up of tension in every fabric that you use.Cotton fabric is most easier other than silk fabric make a record on this set up.The required tension depend upon the stiffness of the fabric, thickness, layer of rabric to be sewn and required stitches.Try cotton fadric turn tension dial to N0. 3 and Stitch set to from 8 to 12 defend to what is nice to you.
