Take a pair of needle nose pliers and pull the carb screws out toward you. then start the trimmer and with a small flat head turn them until it runs with no sputter and that one is set and the other one do the same but you need to hold the throttle down and adjust the screw until it sounds and runs good and push them back in when set

I have a stihl fs 85 whipper sniper will start if i pour fuel in carby but doesnt seem to be sucking fuel into carby

Could be a dirty needle and seat, gummed up over time. Or an incorrect float or punctured float. Clean the carb and rebuild it wit a kit from your local dealer.

What kind of oil and gas mixture to I use for my stihl kombi?

When you buy the 5L of unleaded Petrol (the same as a car uses), mix with the recommended amount of 2 stroke Stihl oil as marked on the container that the Stihl 2 stroke oil comes in.
Do not use any make of oil other than Stihl or Husqvarna 2 Stroke. I have come across so many people who have tried to cut corners by buying cheaper oil. If you are asking the question you are obviously not going to use the saw to cut down hundreds of trees so for a few pence/cents more for each fill, give the saw the best chance to last.
I always mix the can with 2 stroke oil as soon as I arrive home from the petrol station and MARK the can very obviously as 2 stroke. If you don't use the mixture within 1 month, it is a good idea to use it up in your garden mower. That is as long as the mower does not have a catalytic converter. It will work fine on the very weak oil mixture that modern saws require.

Gas oil mixture?

Depends on the size of your gas can. Get a mix oil bottle rate for the size of your tank. I reccomend Mobil super+ fuel and STIHL HP Super oil.

Do I mix the oil and gas together and pour it in the gas tank or do I pour the gas in the tank and the waverunner mix's the oil and gas together?

Mix the oil and gas together first.
Or you can add some gas into tank, then add some oil, then add more gas, then bit more oil ... so oil-gas mixture is uniform.

What is the oil to gas mix ratio ?:? stihl fs 45

If memory serves, Stihl recommends a 50 to 1 mix ratio on the gas mixture...( 2.6 oz oil to 1 gal fuel ) I usually run mine just a smidge richer and run a mix of 45 to 1... ( 2.8 oz oil to 1 gal of fuel ) I also add about 1/2 oz of "Stabil" fuel stabilizer to the mix (holds down gumming of the fuel and keeps things running sweet)...hope this helps... ;-D

My stihl demo saw ran out of gas an i filled it back up with the proper mixture an now it wont start

Remove plug and clean/replace. also check in the tank for a filter on the end of the fuel line.
Ground the plug of the body of the saw and stry to start to see if you are getting a nice healty spark. If you tank ran dry then you may have contaminated your plug.

Port in front for oil and the back is for gas and mixture

Hello Andre;
I think you are saying you put oil/fuel mix in the oil tank and bar oil in the fuel tank; discovered your mistake drained both tanks and refilled with the correct fluids. Now the saw runs but smokes excessively. I think it will do no lasting harm. After you have run a few tanks of the correct mix (50:1) through the saw. Remove and clean the muffler and spark arrestor, reinstall them. Inspect your plug if any evidence of fouling replace it. I think you will be cutting with this saw for years.

Yes the additional smoke is caused by a very oil rich mixture and should abate with each fresh tank of fuel. If the chain is not moving ensure the chain brake is not engaged.

If you have more questions or need additional help please reply below and I will get back to you. Good Luck. HTH

I have a techumseh snow blower 5.5 engine. I need to know what type of fuel it needs. It says on the outside something about a 50:1 oil gas mix and lists some types of oils. Where can I get these oils,...

go to your hardware store and ask for some 2 cycle 50:1 oil, mix that with a gallon of gas and you're good to go. Before you mix, make sure that you read the oil container for it's recommendations! You can purchase a small container of oil that is all measured for 1 gallon of gas
