Errr u052 cannot print .

A lot of Canon printer's users come across with the error message, "U052 This type of print head is incorrect." It is a very common error on Canon printers and is fairly easy to troubleshoot.

There are two different scenarios related to U052 kind of error message. One is where the print head is not installed at all and then it is giving the 'U052 This type of print head is incorrect' error message.

And, the second scenario is where the print head is installed nut it is not functioning properly or probably not working at all. The below section will show step by step troubleshooting of both the scenarios.

Error code 490665 van HP Laserjet 2420

49.XXXXX ERROR
alternates with
To continue turn off then on

A critical firmware error has occurred.

1. Press CANCEL JOB to clear the
print job from the printer
memory.
2. Turn the printer off, and then
turn the printer on again.
3. Go to http: www.hp.com/
support/lj2420.
Click Download Drivers and
Software. Check for the
latest firmware image version
at the bottom of the page. If
this firmware image is newer
than the one installed on the
printer and the printer can
receive a firmware update,
download the newer firmware
upgrade. Not all printer
models can receive firmware
upgrades.
4. Try printing a job from a
different software program. If
the job prints, go back to the
first program and try printing a
different file. If the message
appears only with a certain
software program or print job,
contact the software vendor
for assistance.

If the message persists, try this:

1. After performing the actions
listed in the preceding item, if
the message persists when
using different software
programs and attempting
specific print jobs, disconnect
all cables that connect the
printer to the network or a
computer.
2. Turn the printer off.
3. Remove all memory DIMMs
or third-party DIMMs from the
printer. (Do not remove the
firmware DIMM in slot J1.)
4. Remove all of the
EIO devices from the printer.
5. Turn the printer on.
6. If the error message
disappears, reinstall
each DIMM and EIO device
individually, making sure to
turn the printer off and then
on again as you install each
device. To replace a DIMM,
see.
7. Replace the DIMM or
EIO device that caused the
error message.
8. Remember to reconnect all of
the cables that connect the
printer to the network or
computer.
9. If this error message persists,
replace the firmware DIMM.
10. Replace the formatter

follow the step by step solution from kodak.

Choose All-in-one printer and then Print quality and follow the further steps. I think it's a problem with your printhead.

Printer will not print entire document. If I have a 46 page doc, the printer only prints half. I enter the rest of the doc, and it prints maybe four pages then stops again.

Try printing pages 1 through 25, let printer cool down, print pages 26-46. I'm, thinking it's a print head overtemp problem. If the second printing will not do the complete 26 to end, let the printer set for a longer time to cool off and try again.

InDesign Printing problem; service error 49.4c02

This is a solution which has been suggested on another site, this has not been tested by myself so no promises.

1. Turn the printer off.
2. Remove all memory DIMMs or third-party DIMMs from the printer. (Do not remove the firmware DIMM in slot J1.)
3. Remove all EIO devices from the printer.
4. Turn the printer on.
5. If the error no longer exists, install each DIMM and EIO device one at a time, making sure to turn the printer off and back on as you install each device.
6. Replace a DIMM or EIO device if you determine that it causes the error.
7. Remember to reconnect all cables that connect the printer to the network or computer.
8. If the error persists, replace the firmware DIMM.

Hope it helps, as I said, not tested personally.
