Question about Computers & Internet
I've already removed the battery bar from the back of my laptop (Gateway M-285-E) and use just the AC to power it (thanks to a guy who gave me that fix when I couldn't get the thing to work at all), then it began to just shut down - go black, seemingly randomly, until I figured out that I have a bad power cord and it has to be just so for the power to get through. Sigh - what next?!? I really don't need help, but thought this info may be of some help to anyone else experiencing these same problems.
First is the power cord, next is the pin in the dc jack , if it moves just a tiny bit , jack needs to be replaced
