How to fix/ trouble shoot a 2015ish LG LED 47" TV that plays sound but keeps losing the picture.

Back - light problem. Check and replace damaged component/s at its back-light inverter board, or replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. It will be best to replace the inverter board as card basis.

To some model sets; especially LED back-lighted types; the back-light inverter circuit will be part of the main power supply board [SMPS]. In such cases, the power supply board might need replacement. To some models sets, the back-light inverter and SMPS section circuit will be integrated at its main board itself. If so; the main board should be replaced. To some models of sets, all these section circuit will be integrated at its main board. If this is the case, you have to replace the main board.

I have the oCosmo CE4001. No picture. Just audio. No backlights. I can see a picture when I hold a flashlight up to the screen. Is this the LED driver gone bad? Is that part of the main power supply?

Why doesn't it turn on?

Your TV micro may be on the audio board. Trace the wire from power supply that says SB5v and it should go to the board with the TV micro which does little more than turn on the TV when it sees the right turn on code from the remote. The TV micro sends a control signal back to the power supply to turn on all the other voltages. Don't over look a bad I/R detector module which should go to the TV micro board too.

If you are using a universal remote, try the factory remote first. The universal remote could have change device codes.

HOw to replace the power fuse in a OCOSMO LED TV

There is no replaceable fuse.
If your LCD TV or monitor has stopped working, or is displaying one of the following symptoms, then it's a candidate for some new capacitors
- Flickering screen
- Screen image disappears after several seconds
- Dim screen
- Slow start
- Power LED on, but no picture
- Unusual colors and/or lines
The primary cause of LCD TV and monitor failure is caused by faulty capacitors. You can examine the capacitors in your LCD TV or monitor and actually see if they are bad.
If they appear bulged on top, then they need to be replaced.
New capacitors will solve a host of problems in LCD monitors and TV's and will extend the life of your monitor or TV by several years.
Check the cables, connectors and connections.
Take it to a repair shop.

I blew a fuse and everything in my room, computer, playstation and the tv turned off. When i switch the fuse back on, the computer and playstation was working but the tv is not. Is there a chance that I...

Hi Jonathan,

Yes, if there's no LED light at the front panel of the TV, this is an indication that the power supply is not working (I'm assuming that you've already tried to plugged it in to other working outlet). First thing to check is the internal fuse of the TV. If you found it open, replaced it with same current(ampere) rating and try to power it on again. If the new fuse blow again this is an indication of more serious problem in the power supply. You may replaced it with a new board or seek for an assistance of a qualified TV technician to troubleshoot the board.
If you found the fuse intact, still the same problem(power supply board).
Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Hope I helped you.
Have a nice day!
