I'm sorry that was misspelled. It pops and backfires. And sputters And then it will eventually die and can only be restarted with choke pulled all the way out.

SOURCE: Suzuki S50 electrical issue

I had the same problem with mine. It would usually work to just jump down on the seat and everything would come back on. Then one day it wouldn't work. I eventually narrowed it down to the battery connections. The bolts to the battery seemed tight when checked through the access holes on either side of the bike. I removed them and dropped the battery down to find the small bar in the battery post was loose from the front side of the battery. I tightened both of those bolts, put the battery back in and re-connected the wires to the side of the terminals. That was almost 2 months ago and it hasn't happened again yet. If they do come loose again, I'll put some loc-tite on them next time.

Where is battery on s50

I believe like my 2008 it is on the very bottom of the bike on the frame, almost right under the tank.seat. 2 bolts need to be removed and of course the batter cables before removing..make sure you get a charging system test and not just replace battery when a no start or dead battery issue occurs, the S50's have a habit of needing stator.regulator replaced..hope thishelps
