try to spin the inner drum. You could have a broken belt. if it spins really easy, that's probably what it is. There should be some resistance when you turn it.

I have no power to my kenmore elite dryer, model 110.87089601. I had a sudden power outgage and checked the circut brakers. Is there a reset button anywhere?

Unfortunately there is not a reset button or circuit breaker or even a fusible link in that model of dryer.

But before you panic, I would recommend that you trip and reset the dryer circuit breaker (unplug the dryer first) in your house circuit breaker panel to make sure it is really set. Then measure the volatage at the outlet for the dryer with a multimeter (remember it is 220V) to make sure you have both 110V legs at the outlet. If everything is good up to the outlet, you will need to open up your dryer cabinet to find out where you lose the voltage. When you get to a point that you have volatage on one side of a component but not on the other - that part is normally bad.

My GE Dryer just stopped working. The washer is working, I've checked the circut breaker and the GFI breaker and they're all working. Is there a reset button?

We own a Maytag Neptune Dryer Model No. MDG5500AWW and have already replaced the mother board. The dryer began beeping periodically and then it just won't start - controls are frozen but they do light up....

If you hear random beeping and a double beep sound when you are pressing a key it means that your problem is the keypad itself, not the board. The keypad on this model is the entire console (not a cheap part @ $200 but this was a very well built dryer so probably worth the repair). You most likely have one of the keys that is shorted out on the console that is causing all of your troubles.
Get yourself a new key-panel part number 33002536 and replace it and you should have your problems solved.
Good luck and please let me know if you have any other questions on this!!

The dryer starts up automatically without having to press the start button. will not turn off at the end of cycle, buzzer does not stop, only at the end of one of the 4 cycles.

you have a door switch that is bad, the circut is close so the dryer thinks that the door is still closed. replace your door switch. let me know the model and i will help you through that.

Tumble dryer not working

I managed to solve the problem the following way: I noticed that if you unplug the Sensor-NTC(part nimber 154431 https://www.bosch-eshop.com/eshop(bD1lbiZjPTAwOQ==)/bosch/gb/prodp.htm?prod=WET2820GB%2f13 ) that controls temperature of air in the air channel, the drying cycle runs as you describe above. So this circute was checked up to the power module. Contacts of the Sensors plug were tightened; I think this solved the problem; resistance of the sensor checked. It must be 4.8K at 25 degree C. and decrease when temperature increases. I dipped the sensor in a glass with hot water.
