Question about QSC MX1500A 2-Channel Amplifier
The 4 fuses on either left side or right side will blow after a minute or so after power up. Upon further investigation, I find at least one of the power amp transistors blown as well. Replace all failed components (the ones that I can find), compare left side to right side (or vise-versa) - I have a huntron tracker that I can compare components with. Original problem was with the right channel. I seem to have fixed it, but now the left channel is doing the same. Any suggestions?
Most likely the wire for the speakers, if you have them wired for a specified ohm that the amp doesnt support will cause the issue, as well as bad ground, cross connecting wires. I would start by removing all wires and connections, ensure they are clean and speakers are wired properly.
