the socket is melting from excessive power going through it
that indicates a dead short in what ever is plugged in or in the plug itself
for safety have an electrician check it out.
fridges not cooling regardless of make suffer from several problems.
low gas from a leak door not closing properly/leaking door seals
compressor motor not running from low gas /overload/burnt out
faulty thermostat /settings. In a business because you need the unit to operate all the time ,get a fridge mechanic in to fix it
That is still enough time for oil to go into the evaporator and cause problems for the compressor starting. Keep it upright and don't leave the power plugged in while you are away. Plug it in and try for about five minutes at a time. If it does not start then come back later and try again. Eventually it will start so when it does I believe you will be good to go! Let me know if you continue to have problems or if this works for you, Thanks, John Tripp Appliance 911 if need Contact Me Here
Ring samsung up because this is a common fault in that make. I had the same problem, They should do something depending on when it was purchased ( 2005-2006 i think it was) it was on watchdog.
Im assuming you mean the freezer is cold but the fridge is not . Most of the time these auto defrost fridges require a internal evaporator fan to draw the frost from the freezer to the fridge compartment. If the fan is stuck, it will not be able to transfer this frost. Before any major strip down, suggest you defrost fridge unit for approx 12 hours and start again. 90% of the time this will correct the problem. Almost certainly door was left open accidently for a period which resulted in this. Please let me know if not the answere.
I think your motherboard of your fridge is going bad. If that is so, then its better to just get a new fridge than tryin to fix it. the motherboard is expensive and this is the brains of the fridge
if you have ice buildup then the fridge may be low on freon. or there is dust clogging around the pump or fan is not running. remove the bottom or back and look around the compressor. see that the fan is running.
