If yoa are using an amplifier, pioneer is notorious for not having a strong enough ground on the sheild of the rca's. What I do is get a splitter (1 male 2 female - radio shack or somewhere) Cut one of the female ends of and strip back the first sheild. It will be braided, take that and ground it to the black ground wire of the radio and it should be fine.

How to adjust front speaker level on vsx-d308 pioneer surround sound ?

Did you use to be able to turn up the front levels and now you can't?
Or is it the first time you have installed it?
If it previously did then clearly there is a fault.
However if not. Then like many receivers the front volume is simply controlled by the main volume control. If this is the case then you need to adjust the other channels to give you the best sound. The best way to do this is get one of those THX DVD discs. On the menu to the disc you will find a setting for setting up the sound THX screen. It will produce a test tone for each speaker. You then adjust it for the best sound quality. This way the sound field will sound great for your living room and Dolby movies will have you jumping out of your seat when an unexpected sound appears on the left channel and voices won't get drowned out by noises from the back.

My receiver keeps shut'n off right *** soon as i turn it on it says"amp err" i open it n no blown fuzes or burn smells or burns or nothin out of the ordinary, except for alot of dust...... it...

I would unplug the unit and then un-hook all speaker wires from the receiver. Next power the unit back on with no speakers attached, if you still get "amp err" then you likely have a power supply or regulator problem. If the unit seems to power on ok, then add one speaker at a time and test. This receiver has a power up routine and it looks at speaker load before sending signal. If there is a short in the cable or the speakers are presenting a load below 4 ohms then the receiver will never power up correctly.
Good Luck. Hope you get your beats back.

Noise coming out of speakers connected to Denon AVR 1908

Check for nearby wireless devices and move them away. -If the audio output from the source device (i.e. DVD, CD player) is digital (i.e. PCM, DTS or Dolby Digital) you're on your own. I'd be willing to bet the output is analog (red and white RCA), because the "beeps" and "exploding sounds" you describe seem like it could be caused by interference. Try replacing the cables. Otherwise the issue is probably with your receiver.

Installing a pioneer home theatre dvd/speaker system.

On page 36 of the Pioneer users manual, it describes how to set your audio for HDMI interconnect. Follow the directions, and hopefully it will work. You can down load the manual from the Pioneer web site. Google "speaker system HTZ171 DVD". Click on the Pioneer site for your system and look for the download on the right side of page.
I hope this was helpful...

Pioneer deh-p9800bt is makeing a bad noise thrrough my speakers

Since vehicles started using High Energy Ignition engine noise in stereo equipment has been a issue. You have two options. The first is to try connecting your power wire to a alternate source that may have internal filtering. If you cant find a clean source of power you will have to add a inline filter on your power wire. You can pick them up at any stereo shop.

Road noise

Is it a whining noise that changes with the accelerator pedal? Do you have aftermarket amplifiers in the car? There are a number of different noises you could be hearing and a number of solutions for each. Also, if aftermarket amplifiers are connected to the front speakers and the Pioneer radio was powered up and RCA's connected to the back, you may have burned out a diode inside the radio and you'll get "engine noise"

Will not read disc & lots of motor noise

Your problem is a common one. The spindle motor is going bad or is bad, and/or you need to clean the laser lens. The only way to fix this would be to take out the unit and hook it up to a test harness. If you do not have a test harness you will need to seek out an authorized repair depot to do this for you. good Luck Ps Please dont forget to rate this thread.
