The line appeared on the power board, right side where there is a lot of heat. Found a ribbon cable on the x board under the line to have a loose glue connection. I added a shim and it's working fine.. well for now. Thanks all.

Unplug for 30 seconds from it's power source and then try it again. If that doesn't work, call Samsung for further troubleshooting and have your model number and serial number handy. Please be prepared to tell them how long the line is.

If the set is under an extended warranty get it serviced.
On rare occasions it may be the Plasma screen itself that is defective. In more than 90% of the cases it is a circuit board that has to be changed.
This can be an addressing problem to the screen. The failure can be in the screen addressing circuits or probably in the processor circuits. After or during the signal conversion to the data buss, there are many areas of the set that can actually cause missing pixels, lines, or ailiasing in the image.
The service tech will swap out boards to find the fault. Once he finds the defective board, he will quote you for a new board.

You could have one of three problems. One is really expensing to fix and you might want to trash the set. Thats if the panel is bad. Secondly, it could be a buffer board that went back. Not as expensive as the panel. Finally, it could be the connection between the two. I would first take the back off and locate this board. Undo the ribbon cable and clean it off a bit and put it back. If its still there, you have a deeper problem.
