Ok. you will need a screwdriver phillips and a pair of ****. this is going to take about an hour. first take off the tanks, nexted on one side of the machine you will see i believe its 8 to 10 screws. (you don't need to take apart the handle) once you take all of them out, there's a plastic plate that the tanks sit on. take this off. (4 screws) got that done, seperate the two pieces.(the handle will come out so you have more space, it will be a tight fix) the haves are apart and you will see the hoses there. take out the big long hose(2 screws hold it on at the top) and at the bottom of this is the short hose that you need to replace. using your **** cut the plastic on either side of the notches on both sides. put the new hose on. then reverse your steps for putting back together. hope this helps out

Lower hose broken hoover agility how to replace

to replace a hose on the Hoover V2 is a pain in the you know what. i would recommend

1. take it in and have a professional repair shop do it.

2. trade the V2 in for the Hoover PowerMax steam cleaner with spinscrub they are 100X better then the V2's and about 1/2 the price

Hoover Steamvac Agility won't pick up dirty water

Press the handle release kick-button with your foot, extend the handle all of the way back, and take a look at the gap between the base of the unit and the handle/reseviour assembly. You should see several black hoses attached to the base and running up into the handle assembly. One of them (the dirty water return hose) might be cracked. Turns out that might be a common problem with this model. We had the same problem.

Judging by the interference between the vacuum hose and the "dirty water return" hose, there is NO WAY those two hoses can exist together in that housing without causing the dirty water return hose can last for many full bends of the handle. We opted to not repair our unit, but you might be able to do it yourself for the cost of the part and several hours of your time. Otherwise, seek out your certified Hoover repair center for more info.

Where is schematics online to replace lower hose assembly part

There is no schematic that I am aware of. I can tell you that from experience that this repair is very difficult. Basicaly the upper and lower handle unscrew along with the tank base, the hood comes off. the lower handle will split but not comes completely apart to remove the hose section. When reassembling, be sure to put the back hose gasket in the correct position. Look at it (take a picture) prior to repair first.

Hose

I ordered it through www.247vacuums.com They shipped immediately.
It is called Lower Hose and it was $13.99 plus shipping. I just went to the website and this is the direct link. Hope it works.

Also, replacing it didn't turn out to be that difficult. You just have to get all the screws out and there are lots of them. I think I took out 16 and then was able to open the upper compartment enough that I could change the hose without too much of a problem. Good luck.
