Used this product on a sweatshirt and some smudged past where I was gluing. It is dark on the gray shirt. How can I get this off? It will ruin the looks of the shirt.
Well if you soaked it with warm water before it dry'd it come right out , but if it dry'd then im afraid its forever youd ruin the fabric by trying to abrade it away

The waterproof membrane material in your gloves is actually glued (welded) to the inside of the fabric and so is well protected. What you also have is a DWR coating that stops water getting into the outer layer of fabric that protects the waterproof membrane. All you have to do is visit your local outdoors store and ask for a good waterproof fabric friendly cleaner and a re-proofing product for the DWR coating.
Yes, with two caveats. 1) If you put in a dyed fabric that is leaching dye you might get stains on the whites. Anything that has been washed more than three times before should be safe enough. 2) You may end up with some dark lint on your white clothes. You may want to avoid dark clothes that produce a lot of lint, like towels or sweatshirts.
Do a couple of tub clean cycles. Then do a quick wash with a cup of bleach thrown into washer on hottest setting. If you are using liquid soap, then switch to powder--no residue leftovers. Use max 2 tablespoons of detergent but only 1 1/2 is needed for full loads. Never use softener. If grease spots persist then I would guess bearing seal is the problem. Good luck.
Many of the machines are having a similar issue I am trying to find a resolution to fixing this, there are two issues. First Whirlpool has just recently identified a problem with premature bleach dispensing. Another dispensing problem I had is that fabric softener had to be diluted otherwise it would not wash out of the dispenser. And finally, the fabric softener dispenser would still hold a small amount of water after the wash cycle completed.Removing the top of some washers I have found that there is often a lot of stainless steel polish residue around the rim of the machine - which should have been cleaned away before the machine was shipped from Whirlpool. The gray, oily residue was not visible without removing the top of the washer. Knowing now what has caused the dark gray streaks on many peoples laundry.
did you dry any of this load in the dryer? If you did, the color is set you wont get it out.
If not rewash everything, Except the red t shirt! in the Hottest water the clothing can take. If its whites use a little bleach. you could also use a color safe bleach on colored items. You may want to divide up the load into similar items. Experiment what have you got to loose.
One time we washer a gray sweatshirt with a red sweatshirt, why the gray turned Pink! I dont know we line dried it and washed again, The pink came out.

GRAY MARKS OR SMUDGES ON CLOTHING
L8178406
October 2003
Gray marks, streaks or smudges on clothing after a wash
cycle.
CONDITION:
CAUSE:
At the end of the cycle, the wash plate nutates for
approximately 30 seconds to fluff the clothing after the
final spin. The action of fluffing causes the outer wash
plate seal to rub against the stainless steel basket while
they are both relatively dry. This condition causes the gray
discoloration.
RESOLUTION:
An updated machine control, part number 8542693, is
now available. The updated control reduces the fluff time
from 30 seconds to 8 seconds, allowing the clothing to be
fluffed, without causing discoloration.
Gray marks or smudges can be washed out of clothing
after wiping down the basket. The consumer should use
the recommended amount of HE detergent and the hottest
water safe for the fabric or hand wash the garment under
running water. In either case, the fabric must be cleaned
prior to running through the dryer.
