My micro sd behaved similarly. first try to format it through the phone it self. it helped me. another thing that might help is to use a fast micro sd card. first i used Sandisk calss 2, than when i went to buy a 8gb card i could choose between a sandisk class 2 or another unknown company that card at class 6 at the same price. i took the class 6 one. from then i didnt have any mpre problems.

Have installed 2x 1G PC2 6400 800Mhz Modules into the PC. However the machine will not boot up. If I simply replace one of the modules with one that I removed (256MB at 533MHz it will boot - and will...

What is your Motherboard type? Sometimes you might want to check that you can boot more than 2g's it is likly you can't but im sure you could, is there more than 2 slots for ram aswell? if there is try putting all 4 memory sticks in, if this further doesnt help, go to your motherboard website and get the latest drivers.

Im not sure how much ram to use with my motherboard.

Your board can support 4Gb of RAM.

CLICK HERE for the SPEC sheet.

HERE is the memory support list, there is only 1 type of KINGSTON 2GB stick that is listed as compatible.

Make sure you have the latest BIOS as there are some known issues with this board and certain 4GB RAM configs as well as fixes for 1TB HDD space errors.

Always a good idea to make sure you have the latest XP service pack. In general, XP only recognises 3Gb RAM but mine runs fine with 4 in it.

When you crash, is there any Blue Screen of Death (BSoD) or any other output to your monitor or does it just shut down with no warning or error code or anything? If this is happening then you may be getting a CPU OVERTEMP condition.

Have you recently upgraded other components as well as your RAM?

One of the ram isnt recognised???

This is likely a memory timing incompatibility. You can go into the BIOS settings of many motherboards and set the timing specifically for each RAM slot, but without knowing exactly which piece of RAM you have I can't tell you what to set it at. You could use the utility CPU Z, install one stick, run the utility and write down all the memory information, then install the other stick and write it down too. Then go into your BIOS and see if you can set all of your specifications to match the memory.

Of course if you could find someone to swap sticks with that would be easier. Some motherboards are more picky than others about which sticks they work well with, name brand manufacturers are more picky than aftermarket in general.

Broken Mp3!!!!

Make sure the hold/lock switch is not engaged - see manual for location - p. 12 to be exact

You may have a corrupt database also - unfortunately there are no firmware upgrades for this model that I can see. So, instead, you will go to the Settings Menu and select Format:
Format : Formats the internal memory. Select either <YES> or <NO>.
Selecting <YES> will format the internal memory and delete all fi les on the player.
Selecting <NO> does not format the internal memory.

Photos not going onto memory stick

Storage defaults to internal memory (32MB) when Memory Stick Duo is not detected/recognised. Check to see if the Memory Stick's write protect tab is unlocked, or try another Memory Stick.
