What is the error code E8 on Voltas cassette AC unit?
An E8 error usually indicates a fan problem with the indoor or outdoor unit. An E8 error is usually cleared by power cycling both the indoor and outdoor unit by turning power off at the breaker. Be sure to check the indoor air filters are not dirty and blocking air flow from the fan.
F8: This error code shows up only when there is an issue with the outdoor ambient temperature sensor. F9: This error code shows up only when there is an issue with the outdoor DC fan. P2: This error code shows up only when there is an issue with the Compressor phase current protection.

Answer: I had an E8 error on my Ancheer treadmill last year. It means an overload condition. At the time I was at least 60 pounds under the stated weight limit.

Well, it would help to know the make and model... on a Samsung the E8 code means the water hoses are connected to the wrong taps (i.e. the hot hose is hooked to the cold tap and vice-versa).
