Incapable of feeding paper.

The dell 810 will start to feed the paper, but it doesn't travel through the inside, and crimps up near the feed roll.

There may be debris blocking travel near the feed roller, or the feed roller is not turning (check for broken drive belt or bad gearing).

PAPER JAM

When the paper goes it on the inside of the printer grabs both side which what feeds it through, if it is not tight enough will cause paper jams, open it back up and check the roller to see if it can be adjusted if it cant then you will need to buy a new one, this usualy happens when it has had too many paper jams forcing the gap to increase in size and not allow the collection of one but many, on single sheets of paper the gap wont be small enough to collect 1 sheet anymore.

It will not feed the paper to start printing. It says that it is out of paper. How do I fix this?

Check the paper supply tray and look inside. I'm assuming it's a vertical feed - look down into it and check the take-up roller. Make sure it springs towards the paper as if it will roll and grab one sheet. Sometime the roller gets stuck - reach in and try to make it motion in both directions.

Paper jam. paper pulls towards the right hand side and jams

Sound like you have something stuck in the paper feed path, check for a paperclip or similar, it may be that you have had a jam and torn off a piece of paper inside the printer which is now stuck, when removing jams from any nmachine allways pull paper in direction of feed never back on itself as it can cause this very problem

How do I install adding machine paper roll

Slide off the upper cover of the calculator, and cut across the paper roll to form a clean end.
If you are mounting the roll externally (outside of the back of the calculator), then look for a slot in the rear of the calculator, which will accept the paper. Feed the end of the paper through the rear slot, and then into the internal feed slot, and hold the [FEED] key. After that, you can flip the arm back to mount the roll and replace the upper cover.
If you want to place the roll inside of the calculator, then you need to feed from the bottom of the roll into the internal feed slot, and hold the [FEED] key. After you are finished, replace the upper cover.

I line up the paper feed to which looks perfectly correct and the paper feeds at an angle and jams.

There is something blocking the paper path. Have you looked thought the top to see if there is something in the paper feed rollers (small obstruction)?
Do you have a tranparency (thicker paper) that you can try running through to clear th obstruction?
let me know if this works or doesn't and we can try some other things.
