Question about Ruud UAKA048 Air Conditioner
Sounds like have charge problem. You need aservice tech to check this. Make sure you ask him to check the unit split. Which means the temp. of the air coming into your reurn or filer area and temp of the air at your closest outlet. The difference between these two is the split. Should be between 19 to 23 degrees if charge is right. If this is to low the problem may be a heat strip stuck in or the charge is off. Either way you need a good service tech you trust. Not all service techs are service techs period. Ask for a free estimate on checking your unit. If you put a bigger unit in your house it should be freezing you out. Russ
