Question about Clarion Memory Navi NX309
use this video as a reference. The buttons should be in the same areas just in japanese.
So, first press the menu key (3 horizontal lines, left side of screen).
Then press the settings key (bottom right of screen)
Then press the language option (2nd from the top of that list)
Now press the first item on the list, and fing English.

I hear ya. I would use Google Translate with my smartphone camera to try to decode the Japanese, far enough to get to a language menu, where you can select English as the language.

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
