Most Dish receivers out an RF signal as well as composite and S-video outputs. HD ones have component and HDMI as well. What do you have? Tell us the model. Most modern TV will accept composite or S-video or better yet component inputs. What do you have? Your Monitor is HD-Ready so you should be ready for all but 111, very lowest Dish but that has RF, non-HD of course as is true for all SD receivers.

We have dish network. when we watch tv we have popping sounds but no popping sounds when liseng to the music stations. our tv is connected to surround system

Have you isolated the problem to the audio receiver? Do you get popping with just the TV speakers on and the receiver turned off.
Are you connected to the receiver with an HDMI , RCA, Coaxial or Optical? If you have multiple choices of audio out ports on the TV or from the Dish box, if that is how you are connecting, try using another source that your receiver will accept. This should help you isolate the problem.

I'm wondering where in the mix is your satellite receiver? The recorders currently on the market aren't able to decode digital satellite signals. They are capable of decoding cable but i'm unaware of any that work on satellite.

How i conecct my receiver to the dish hdtv

First find out if your Dish HD box has an optical or coaxial digital audio out.
Connect this digital out to to the Denon's optical or coaxial input. On the back of the receiver the digital inputs are labeled as DVD or CD/CBL . Remember to select the front input selector of the Receiver according to what ever input you have connected your HD box.
On all TV channels your 5.1 speakers may not work. You can make them work by choosing some of the DSP functions on the Denon remote. Just press the surround button and select Dolby Pro Logic II movies / music. This will convert 2 channel audio to 5.1.

How do I connect my Kenwood VR-715 surround sound system, Dish Network receiver, and HD LCD TV together so the surround sound works? Can't figure out what goes in the input, the order of the connections or...

Hello,
The best way to do this is to connect you dish network receiver is directly to the tv. Try to use the best video type possible. HDMI is the best, next is component and lastly is composite. This will take care of the video portion. Next, connect digital audio output to the Kenwood Receiver. I dont know what type of a digital audio output your dish box has, but your kenwood receiver has both optical and coaxial inputs so you should be fine there. Once you have both audio and video wired, change the inputs on both your tv and kenwood receiver to the inputs you are connected to. You might need to set up the kenwood to tell it that your running digital audio to it in the setup menus. Hopefully this helps, let me know if you need any clarification.
Good Luck

Have new E370VL hooked up to Dish Network via coax. The picture jumps/blips? Connections are tight. Help.

This can happen when there is radio interference near the coaxial cables. Sometimes the interference is behind walls. The solution is to try a different combination of modulation and channel than what the DISH receiver is current set.

The DISH menu screen for this setting is Menu-6-1-5. With dual-tuner receivers, typically "TV 1 Out" is the TV that is connected in the same room as the receiver is located. "TV 2 Out" is the tuner that is fed to the remote TV via backfed coaxial signal.

All that needs to be done is to change the channel and mode going to the effected TV to something different. If your channel/mode is currently set to Air/60, try changing it to Cable/73. When you change the mode/channel in the DISH receiver, you need to set the remote TV to the same mode and channel.

Keep in mind that with some TV companies like VIZIO, they call their "Air" mode "Antenna". With VIZIO's the TV must be set on TV input and then go into the Menu to the Settings, Tuner Settings. Change mode type to match what you are trying on the DISH receiver, exit the VIZIO menu and manually enter the channel number.

Eventually with trial and error, you will find a mode/channel combination that isn't effected by your particular environmental interference.

T.v shows channel 3, doesn't show dish sign

First ensure the receiver is connected to the TV via coaxial cable and that the receiver is powered on. If the receiver is connected via composite cables yellow/white/red you will have to change the input on the TV to match the name of the port that it is connected to on the TV. An example of this would be video 1. Some TVs do not have an input aka source button on the set itself and is only located on the original remote. Others you may need to go through the menu to access them and finally some are incorporated into the scrolling of the channels from lowest to highest etc. You may also be able to use the tv/video button on the dish remote but this is not always possible.
Thanks for using Fix Ya. I hope this assists you.

Trying to find out what my tvs settings should be on to hook up m

Have you tried channel 3 or the video input channels.
The Tv only needs the one channel that the signal from the box is sent on.
All the viewing channels will be changed through the satellite box.

No Sound In Home Theater with Dish HDTV DVR Dual Mode Remote Connection

HDTV is not carried via coaxial cable from tuner, you need HDMI or the 5 RCA cables that are different colors. I forget if they are called component or composite, I think they are called composite, the R and W are sound. If you run the HDMI or composite cables to your TV, there should be a variable out or audio out on the back of the TV that outputs ANY sound coming into the TV, like Wii, DVD, tv, etc. So if you want to listen to tv sound, just pipe the audio out to the receivers available input and turn it up. Cant be used with mag input (turntable) all others are compatible. Did this answer your question? Sat cables are usually kept under 130 ft from the dish, and the dish receiver can output coaxial signal over 400ft on RG-6 cable. HDMI is limited and can get very expensive. Does your sat box have a coaxial digital out (orange RCA) you can use that if your receiver can read it, usually associated with the DVD input or video input, but only for digital encoded programs.
