Thats correct, I replaced the motherboard with a new one and plugged correct power supply, however when I turn on my laptop the power light turns on but the laptop does not power on.

Yes, I replaced the whole motherboard in the laptop with a new one and when I plug in the correct power supply and hit the power button I see the power light turn on however after a few seconds it turns off. I don't see any hard drive activity or anything.

Yes, the motherboard is replaced with correct power supply. Power led shows for about 3 sec before turning off. Fans, hard drive, nothing else boots up.

So just to get on the same page, you already replaced the whole motherboard in the laptop with a new one and when you plug in the proper P/S, it still does not power on when you hit your power button?

Make sure the RAM and hard drive are seated fully. The best way to do this is to remove it, and re-install it. It is possible that you've blown the LCD's CCFL inverter, but I think it's pretty unlikely. I think the motherboard's protection would have blown first, but since the power LED doesn't come on, I'd have to go with the RAM or the Hard Drive not being seated.

P8P67 EVO Won't Boot with power to board

This is almost always the power supply. How exactly did you "check the power supply"? You checked all 12 or so voltage outs under load?

If replacing the power supply doesn't work, replace the motherboard.

There is two mosfets in the charger connecting line. probably those may be the culprit. This problem is with the motherboard volt in section. You have to use a digital multimeter& schematic to sort out the problem. Techs are fine to handle this.

Sony pcg-81114L power supply not detected

If thelaptop battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be worn out.Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles andwill lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% andgradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up at all. OR Thebattery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected the batterydrops off to zero capacity in a very short time. If the battery drops to anunacceptable charge level then the battery needs to be replaced.

Unfortunately it sounds like you have an issue with your motherboard. If you remove the battery and just try to power on the laptop using the AC adapter and it still won't power on then it's probably the motherboard. The power supply circuit (where the AC adapter plugs into) for the motherboard is integrated into the motherboard.
Sorry. If it's still under warranty Dell will replace the motherboard.

E system 1212 Laptop won't switch on. Power

Laptops are so integrated that usually a system failure that involves power issues such as in your case where you cant get it turn on with anything on the screen mean the mainboard (motherboard) is damaged. This usually leads to buying a new laptop or paying for the board to be replaced which usually costs as much as the laptop.
