Question about Sony VAIO VGN-SZ220/B Notebook
I have a Sony SZ220 Laptop and it won't power on after pluggin wrong power supply, I replaced the motherboard and I see power light turn on but it will not power on.
Make sure the RAM and hard drive are seated fully. The best way to do this is to remove it, and re-install it. It is possible that you've blown the LCD's CCFL inverter, but I think it's pretty unlikely. I think the motherboard's protection would have blown first, but since the power LED doesn't come on, I'd have to go with the RAM or the Hard Drive not being seated.
