How to change the fuel lines in the 128 Ld Husqvarna Trimmer

Buy some new fuel line then put the line in from the motor side into the tank and feed up and through the opening on the tank. Then you can put on a new filter with a tiny clamp then put it back into the tank making sure the filter is resting on the bottom.

How to repair leaking fuel lines under the tank

Okay, prepare to get some gas on you. You need to drain the gas
You'll need:

1 pair hemostats or hose pincher
1 pair of wire cutters
1 screwdriver phillips or flat head
1 nut driver 1/4 inch or 5/16 inch
New fuel line. (cut 1 two inch piece and put the bolt in one end making a plug) = 2 inch plug
Hose clamps.
1 Bolt that will fit inside fuel line.(make line plug)

Pinch either side of the fuel line with hemostats. Cut the factory clamp off and pull the hose off. Put the 2 inch plug on the tank, and that will stop the gas from coming out. put a hose clamp on it if you want so it don't leak.
Now put a gas can under the pinched line and unpinch it and let the gas drain out of that tank.
When done draining , cut that hose off the tank and put it on the other side where that plug is. Remove the plug and put that line on and let that tank drain.
Once the tanks are drained., Just cut the hose to length and replace, using new hose clamps and new fuel line.
If your quick enough you can swap the hoses out without draining the tank.
You will get gas on you no matter what.

Replace fuel line

You can cut the line, push the fuel filter and fuel line attached to it out where you fill it with gas. When you are ready to put new line in, cut the fuel line at an angle so you can push it in the hole. Keep pushing in until it comes out the fuel tank fill hole. Attach your new fuel filter to the line and pull it back until the fuel filter lays in the bottom of the tank. Then cut the line to length and put it on the carburetor. Take the other piece hook on the carburetor and put it back in the tank.

How to load new line

Well i don't know what kind of line holder yours has, but they either a bolted on with a big nut that you'll need to unscrew while holding the line holder(so your not just spinning it around) or it has a slip and lock type cover, which in that case you hold the barrel of the line holder and then grab the cover and twist it to take it off, then you just take out the line spool, and put new line in it, their will be little holes that you put the start of the line in (pay attention to how you pull out the old line and put the new line in the same way you took out the old line), then just assemble back together and make sure you pull 3-6 inches out through the line holes on the barrel before final assembly and you should be good to go.

If that doesn't work for you, then take it to your local home depot or lowes or lawn and garden hardware store and they will most likely just show you real quick how to do it in person, should be free unless their greedy:)

I need to fix athe pull string on my toro push behind mower. it has an 195cc tecumseh motor. the string broke and i can't find anything on toro about how to fix it without buying the whole assembly.

remove bolts from cover and remove the cover. Should be able to access the assembly for the pull rope. Go to a local mower repair shop buy some new line. The old line should just be knotted up on the spring loaded wheel in there. You put a new piece on put in a new knot, put some turns on the assembly to basically wing the spring so it snaps back when pulled, put line through whole and attach to pull handle.
