SOURCE: water won't stop after removing a electronic water timerfrom hose

Check inside the faucet to see if the black washer there is worn, broken, or missing. Turn the water off inside the house, unscrew the nut below the faucet handle, and turn the handle in the ON direction to remove the stem. The washer is screwed into the stem at the bottom. Replacement washers are available at hardware stores, Home Depot, etc.

SOURCE: Water is trickling out

No. Check to make sure the battery is good. If so, and you just purchased the timer, take it back.

Pump is plugged into a hot line and will not run. It ran just over 3 months and quit totally.

Hello Mr Johnson.
I will help.
I am timer expert at fixya. Fixya answers question. We are not home depot or warranty carrier for grunfos.
Here are some ideas:
1) Buy another pump at home depot and return defect in new package
2) Talk to manager at Home Depot.
3) Check if outlet has power. Plug recirc pump into different outlet.
4) Check if override lever is set to OFF, because pump will not run when lever is in OFF position: Here is photo I took showing positions for lever:
http://waterheatertimer.org/Water-heater-recirculation-system.html#lever
5) These devices are prone to surge event. Nearby lightning strike can burn out any electrical device by energizing wires. The surge can follow any path seemingly random trying to find path down to ground.

We have a Vigoro Two Zone Water Timer. The timer started beeping and flashing that the batteries are low. We put new batteries in and it is still beeping and flashing low battery. What do we do now?

The timer is no good.
1) Clean battery terminals and make sure battery polarity is correct.

2) If you bought timer at Home Depot, call:
Internet Customer Service Center at 1-800-435-4654

3) If you live near Home Depot, then buy new timer and return defect timer in new package.

4) Here's what Home Depot customers say about this timer: the product will fail after 4 months, only worked one season, failed right out of box, new batteries did not restore functionality, etc. Only two good reviews.

I have 2 Vigoro 196-036 watering timers. Why does water come out of the three holes near the battery compartment on one of them?

It comes out of the holes because the water goes in the holes. That might sound dumb but Vigoro designed these only to be in dry conditions, such as attached to the water line. I used them for sprinklers, but the water poured into the timer so bad it shorted it out in a week. I did find a vigoro timer with no holes and a sealed unit, and they work great. But I can't find them anymore.

I also had this problem and found that the water pressure was too high. I turned the water spicket down one a a half turns (yours may vary) and now it's working fine.
