It's common for the brushes to pop out of place causing partial contact to the armature . If there not damaged you can simply slide the brush and holder back in place or replace if damaged. .another common issue is the leads going to the motor can become damaged . Most of the time you can clean the terminals and reattach them to the motor .if loose use pliers to carefully squeeze the terminals to the contacts on motor . .I hope that helps !

Yes. It's kind of like a flashlight when your batteries get low the light get dim, but if you replace the batteries light gets bright again. The drill will get weak as battery get low.

I put a short bit into my dewalt impact driver and now i cant get the bit out

Switch to reverse and driver mode hold tight the chuck then run the drill just to jack it... be carefull the keyless chuck plastic that release is easy to lose its grip to the steel so be patient. goodluck!
