Kitchen Aid Superba Range

Dear Sir or Mam,

We got a Kitchen Aid Superba Range.

Model: KERC507HWH2 Series: IMK0826297

Has glass top and regular oven plus the convection oven. The surface burners and warming burner all work.

We bought it used for $30. The oven and convection oven does not heat up. So, we thought that it might be the heating element. We took that out and went to an appliance dealer in Wadena, MN. He tested the element and said it was fine. He said that it was a fantastic deal for $30 and figured that the range was worth about $1,000. He has a technician that can come out if we need him.

But, my husband wanted to see if we can figure it out first.

I think that there might be another heating element behind the fan in the back of the oven from what I read somewhere on the web. Is there?

PROBLEM: We don't have the instruction or product manual.

I went on the KitchenAid site and they don't have a product manual on there that we can download. They have the warrenty one and something else. Can't remember. I will try calling their toll free number today and see if I can get the product manual that way.

Anyway, we don't even know if we are punching stuff in on the digital deal on the top of the oven correctly to TURN IT ON. LOL

So, maybe, you can at least give us the correct steps in order of how to turn the oven on. Sorry, but we have never had an oven with all of this digital stuff. He He And we do live in a tiny town in rural MN.

If I can't get a copy of the product book for this particular range----do you happen to know where I could get one or where I could download one?

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you very much.'

ps I'm sure that you surmised at the start of the letter that I am not very mechanically or technically savvy. LOL

Re: Kitchen Aid Superba Range

We got one used too. It would kinda heat up on broil and would not heat up for Bake. There is two heating elements the one on the top is only for broil or convection (partially). The other is under the cover on the bottom near the back of the oven it is primarily for Baking. We have a repair plan through our utility company and they replaced that heating element which is why I cannot give you too much specifics on how to get to it, but it is there and it fixed our problem. Hope this helps we absolutely love this oven now that it works so keep trying!!

I believe this is made by Whirlpool, try their Customer Support webpage for a manual.

I need a oven bulb lens for my Kitchenaid Superba. I think my model is 9752834A. I need two of them. The one is have has B-1 on it.

Unfortunately, 9752834A is not a model number for the KitchenAid Superba. Usually the model number will have 4-5 letters, 3 numbers, 2-3 more letters and then a final number. Look inside the oven door for a plaque with the model number. With the correct model information, you can see if the lens cover is available.

Next, Kitchenaid ovens either have a rectangular (for models that use halogen bulbs) or circular (for models that use an incandescent bulb) lens cover. I've found three lens covers for Kitchenaid products at . Check if, or look like your model. does not have the model numbers. However, Appliance Parts Pros list most of the same parts and has a model number compatibility checker, .

I hope this helps.

My kitchen aid "superba " convection oven is not maintaining it's temperature. It has only one heating element on top.

There is a good chance there is a hidden element on the bottom. This is common on higher end ranges. It could be a bad element.

My kitchen aid electric convection oven (superba series) is not maintaining it's temp. I do not believe the fan is turning. My oven has only one baking element on top.

You do have a lower element. On convection ovens they are usually covered. If you look in the bottom of you oven you should see it is elevated in a rectangular metal cover. You should be able to slide it forward and lift it away to expose bottom element.
If visual inspection shows no signs of burn out on it then you will have to test to see if it is getting power.
Can you tell if the top element is working for sure?

Kitchen aid double convection oven - glass needs cleaning!

Had to remove the screws on the BOTTOM of the outside door, then panel came off after all the screws (inside oven door included) were off...
Reversed the order to put back on.. Cleaned (all) three glass pieces nicely... Now after reading the problems with the self cleaning part (doors getting stuck!) - I'm afraid to try mine!

Kitchen aid range heats up too slowly

Take the element out and check the ohms on the element. Replacing the element will fix you up.

Looking for a part KitchenAid DBL Convetion oven (12 years old)

Are you talking about the oven pan at the bottom of the oven? If so, the part number may be 1059318 and costs about $50. You can find parts for your range at Just type in your model number in the search window. There is an extensive pictorial part index with price infomration. Unfortunately, this part did not have a photo with it.
