Hello,
My rm2555 has just failed on 240 volt. But not 12 volt.
It turned out to be the 240 volt element .
Fairly easy to replace. If you have a multimeter test the resistance, mine was open circuit.
Does yours work on 12volt?
The two heater elements (ie 12v and 240v ) are on the right when viewed from behind with four large wires coming out, plus an earth wire. There are labels on some of the wires. The 12 volt conects into a terminal connector, where as the 240 volt is fitted with spade connectors and is attached to the printed circuit board, under the white plastic cover. The elements are "L" shaped and are just pushed down in down next to each other. The cover seems to unclip fairly easily to enable removal.
Hope this helps.

chances are the power inverter has gone,(it takes 12 volts upto 240)
easy to check, use a lightbulb and the two wires to check power output.BE CAREFULL NOT TO TOUCH THE WIRES.
Your refrigerant may have completely separated in the system. Shut of the gas, disconnect the electrical and remove refrigerator from the coach or if you have sufficient room inside set it on a clean area. This operation is what is called burping the system. 1. From the base roll it onto the door and wait five minutes. 2. roll it onto the top and wait five minutes. 3. Roll it on the back and wait five minutes. 4. Return it to the base and wait five minutes.
Reinstall it or test it on electrical. It should show signs of cooling in about 30 minutes in the freezer compartment if the system is not plugged in the boiler.
