Question about HP Pavilion dv2500t Notebook
As soon as the computer begins to startup the display shows the startup screen in a series of off center tiled "windows". The windows show the normal startup screens and even make it to the log in screen, but the colors and text are distorted making it very difficult to navigate through any sort of startup repair process (or use the computer in general).
Never seen this happen on a computer before and don't quite know how to approach the problem. Any advice would be appreciated.
Most likely you screen is damaged and will need to be replaced. have you tried starting up in safe mode. connect it to a dextop monitor and see if it works.
