Question about Sony Playstation 3 (PS3) Console
The problem is most likely the tvs you / he is trying it on are not compatible with the resolution the PS3 is set to. Turn off the PS3, leave it attached to a TV that doesnt work, hold down the power button this time as you turn it on, it will reset all video settings to default.
if this doesnt work then hook it to the one TV that does work, go into the video settings (on the settings menu to the far left when you turn it on) and from there set it to be 480i which is the most basic setting that should work on all TVs. After you set that you can shut the machine off and hook it up to any TV.
