Fridgidaire F93 error code and beeps as soon as we try to use oven. Beeping stops with cancel but stove doesn't work, last 2 days.

Computer operated and monitored devices don't like safety features being disconnected.

I did find this though.

Based off the information you have provided your Frigidaire oven is displaying the error code F93. An F93 error code means that you have reached maximum oven door unlock time exceeded. This could be a potential issue with your EOC (Electronic Oven Control), lock motor, or light switch. I would recommend resetting your range and you can do that by disconnecting power from your appliance for ten minutes. Once you reset power to your range, if you continue to experience an issue I would recommend consulting with a technician. They would need to check each component to assure that the proper amount of power is being provided to each part. I hope this information is helpful.

Also this information generally.

How do I fix error code 6202

Code 6202 To Reset. Disconnect from power source wait 2 minutes and reconnect. This should work. I believe it is a modem problem. Your manual should cover this. Contact Kodak for further problems Most issues are correctable by the user and the user should first consult the user/operators manual.

Microwave keeps shutting off after a few seconds and error number H97 shows up on display pad. What does this error mean?

Error code H97 is an indication of a possible failure of the Magnetron, DPC board or the High Voltage Inverter board. It could be just a loose wire connection also between the DPC board and the High Voltage Inverter board.

This failure will require a service technician to diagnose and repair.

My stove frigidare ples389ecd has a code f-30 ..I need a code book

Good Afternoon Friend, this is Z. I appreciate your post!

If you are getting an error code F30 on your Frigidaire range (PLES389ECD), more commonly it is referred to a faulty sensor probe or an issue with the wiring harness between the sensor probe and EOC (Electronic Oven Control). You may try and reset your range by disconnecting the power or by flipping the circuit breaker off and back on after 10 minutes. This often clears most false error code. If the error code does not clear, most likely the EOC on the range will need replacing. I am fairly confident that an authorized service agent will be able to restore your appliance to its normal operating condition. You can often locate a qualified service technician on the manufacturer website. Best regards!

What does F1 error code mean when I put into bake?

Good Morning Friend, thank you for allowing me to assist you!

Typically error code F1 indicates that your Frigidaire range has detected an issue with the runaway temperature (overheating). Let's attempt reprogramming your range by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. It is best to wait roughly ten minutes and then turn on your range. Usually this will clear most false error codes. If issue persists, at this moment I would suggest contacting a professional to proceed further. Most likely the RTD Probe (Resistance Temperature Detector) or the EOC (electronic oven control) will need replacing. Hope this helps! - Z

I have Whirlpool Schott Ceran Accubake range. Got and F3E2 code while oven was in self-cleaning mode. What does this mean?

Hi.

F3 E2 is a temperature runaway error. It means that the control board detected that the oven is too hot. If there is no effective overheating the error occurs because the temperature sensor is shorted.

here the explanation from manual:

F3 E2 : Oven too hot, over heating

Solution:
Test and replace oven temperature sensor.

Before replacement the temperature sensor must be tested. A good sensor will read about 1080 Ohms at room temperature. If the sensor is shorted will only read a couple of Ohms or zero.

If the sensor is good the problem can be the control board, wiring to temperature sensor, or in sporadic cases an heating element that stays always on because of a wiring contact. The last case is quite uncommon.

The most common fault is a defective temperature sensor. The sensor is a probe located inside the oven cavity. The sensor is attached to a two wires connector and held by one or two screws. Disconnect power. Remove the sensor. Undo connector and read Ohms at connector. If there is low impedance replace the probe.

Here a tip explaining how to find parts and diagrams for most aplliances: Where do I find parts and diagrams for my appliance?

Regards.

I have a frigidaire range/stove. I was roasting dinner at 300 then turn the oven up to 400 near the end. Shortly after there was a pop that sounded like it came from inside the oven. I thought a potato...

F1
  • The F1 code indicates a control failure. Try pressing a key to see if it displays on the screen. If not, the keypad may have shorted and requires replacement. If the keypad is fine, there is perhaps a problem with the internal checksum; disconnect the power for 30 seconds and reconnect it. If the code remains, you must replace the electronic oven control (EOC). If the F1 code appears when the oven is running, it means that the oven senses an overheating condition. Use an external thermometer to check the temperature inside the oven. If it is accurate, it means that either the temperature sensor probe or the control relay has malfunctioned. Disconnect the power, and inspect the sensor probe, replacing it if necessary. If the oven is actually overheating, replace the EOC. If the oven is allowed to overheat, the resulting damage is possibly so extensive that the entire oven may require replacement.

Receiving a F 10 message

F10 error code means "runaway temperature condition"

If your oven is overheating, unplug the power cord for a few minutes. When plugged back in if the oven is still overheating, you will need to have the temp sensor and control checked.

The first component to check would normally be the oven temperature sensor probe.
If you have a volt/ohm meter, you can shut off the breaker for the range and remove the screws that mount this sensor to the back wall of the oven. Carefully pull the wire harness into the oven cavity until you get to the wire harness disconnect plug.

You should have enough slack to pull it this far into the oven. Disconnect the sensor but do not let the wire harness retract back through the back wall of the oven or it will be hard to reconnect.
Measure the resistance of the oven temperature sensor with your volt/ohm meter. At room temperature, the resistance should measure around 1100 ohms. The resistance chart is shown in the image below.

If the resistance is above 2200 ohms at room temperature, then the sensor probe is causing the F10 error code and will need to be replaced.

You can order a new sensor probe from the Sears PartsDirect website.

Hope this helps.

Samsung DMR77LHS Tall Tub Dishwasher displays HE code (flashing) and does not finish the cycle. I am very handy and would like to repair this myself. so as much detail as possible is appreciated.

EE1/HE/HE1
  • The EE and HE codes refer to temperature errors. The EE1 designation refers to a thermistor issue, and the HE codes refer to heater problems. These are all functional errors that require a certified service technician, but disconnecting the circuit breaker in the meantime can prevent the problem from growing worse.
  • 4E/4E1
  • The 4E codes indicate a problem with the water supply. If you see the 4E code, make sure the water supply line is correctly attached and open and not frozen or clogged. If you get a 4E1 code, check the temperature of the incoming water supply and ensure that it is below 176 degrees. If either of these issues persist despite your best efforts, contact a repair center.
  • 5E
  • The 5E code means there is a problem with the drain. Make sure the drain hose and openings are not clogged or obstructed. If they are not, and the code remains, disconnect the circuit breaker to reduce the risk of electric shock and contact a service center.
  • oE/9E
  • The oE and 9E codes refer to issues with the water level. The oE code means that the dishwasher is filling too much, and the 9E code means it is not filling enough. Disconnect the circuit breaker for safety and contact a repair center.
  • LE
  • The LE code indicates a leak. To keep from voiding your warranty, do not attempt to diagnose and repair the leak yourself. Close the water supply valve and disconnect the circuit breaker to avoid electric shock and contact a repair technician.
  • 6E2/PE
  • The 6E2 and PE codes both indicate functional errors that must be repaired by a professional. The 6E2 code indicates a pressed key error, and the PE code refers to a problem with the half-load function. Disconnect the circuit breaker in either case and contact a repair service.
