Where is the evap fuse located on a 2001 Chevy S-10 4.3 4x4

There are a few things that may cause the display of error code P0449. The first and most likely cause is the dysfunction of the vent valve in the EVAP system. The second possible cause may be a connectivity issue regarding the connection, wires, or circuits of the EVAP system that results in a false reading. The third and final potential cause may be a faulty PCM, ECM, or EMC which is causing a false reading.

03 tahoe pcm 1 fuse keeps blowing after electrical surge while driving

bogus post, fuse told ,is not correct name and now told not it is not blowing,(ouch)
5.3L V8 , now told, ( this fact puts you into the right chapter of the service manual for sure electrics..)
bogus post#2, fuse PCM-B are not blowing but why are you talking about it at all.?? sure other posts else where? guessing?

stop listening to other guessing what is wrong,
all we know is 12vdc power surge, of some kind,
if you looked at the drawings the things that can fail here are huge(vast). I invite you to read the service manual.
yes fuel pumps do short, want to see a pro Duane on youtube , and his scope showing bad commutator segments of a fuel pump?
huge current spikes, sure but that is a guess. (the video is how to find things going bad before they hard fail dead)

so not told , is engine still dead, ? cranks but does not start, , and did you know dead is the most easy failure of all
to find, safe and sound, not moving and dead is easy to test. (like no spark or fuel pressure dead,etc)
hard jobs are failing moving
or is intermittent.
or only in 3 gear
or only up hill.
or only in left turns. (add endless list here) but the point is made.

dead is bliss in my book , and simple tests find out why.

2001 Yukon xl 5.3 ac just blowing warm air. Keeps blowing 10 amp fuse and compressor not kicking in.

Keeps blowing 10 amp fuse ?????/ Do you know how to test automotive electrical circuit's ? Do you know what cause's a fuse too blow ? Short to ground in that circuit. Viewing wiring diagram's for that fuse's circuit an testing with a DVOM - digital volt ohm meter is how to diagnose . Video's on youtube showing how to diagnose. 2006 ford five hundred burning fuse 48 as soon as it starts what could be causing this problem

Fuse # F1. 48 , location ? under hood fuse box ? 10 amp ? There are several thing's this fuse power's up ! Evap vent and purge solenoids , 4 O2 sensor heater circuits , A/C clutch relay , EGR motor . What transmission does it have CVT or 6 speed automatic . Powers the transmission control module . One of these is shorted to ground . Disconnect them all then put new fuse in an then connect one at a time till fuse blows . You find your problem circuit !

2003 mercury mountaineer keep blow fuse 41 and will not trune over

F1.41 15 PCM power diode, PCM power relay, Vapor management valve,
Heated oxygen sensors (HO2S), Electr. Vacuum Regulator (EVR)
solenoid valve, Evaporative emission (EVAP) canister vent valve
(9F945) one of these above mentioned components is shorted to ground causing that fuse to blow , Check the O2 sensor wiring to see if it is melted on exhaust pipe or manifold . Go youtube an check out how to find a short in an automotive electrical circuit !

You should be using a 20 amp fuse for the ac,too much current for the 10 amp fuse.

1992 gmc pickup keeps blowing heater fuses I replaced the blow motor and it keeps blowing

Have you replaced the blower resistor . some times they can cause the fuse to blow . You may need a muiltmeter to test the current draw on the blower motor circuit. the draw should be less then half of the rated fuse .( 20 amp fues draw is less then 10 amps) You did not say but does the blower work on high only or the lower speeds with out blowing the fuse ? if it does work on low or high with out blowing the fuse i would replace the blower resistor

1998 Malibu, heater blower motor suddenly quit - suspect fuse, but which one? There is a cooler fuse 1 and a cooler fuse 2. One is 10 Amp, the other is 30Amp. Both are in the fuse box under the hood.

blower fuse is the one your looking for prob not under hood lookinside the door jam if no fuses are blowed than its prob the cluster switch in the dash were u select fan speed

2005 Yukon Denalli - Blow cold air out the drivers side

the passenger side electronic controller is sensing the passenger side temperature is cooler than it really is, which causes the controller to increase the hot water flow to warm up the passenger area...any time you replace a battery or loose your charge, the HVAC module will need to be reset...Try this...
Remove your hvac fuse for 10 sec - reinstall fuse. Start engine "DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING FOR 3 MINUTES" Recalibration of module will accure when power is lost (fuse pulled, battery changed or died) If hvac reset did not work you have a trouble code - reset BCM There are two ways to reset your body control module Go to the GENERAL Remove BOTH battery cables (for the sake of CAUTION remove air bag fuse and wait 5 MINUTES) Hold both cables together for 1 minute - drains KAM (keep alive memory). Put everything back together Start the engine "DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING FOR 3 MINUTES" If you have no broken parts - system not default (normal operation)

If that works it just saved you 600 dollars...dealer costs to repair.
